Animal Crossing Megathread - Games

My birdwing was only 101 points Also due to timetravel nonsense this is my second bugoff.

I've only caught a 58 point peacock butterfly so far.

I've never played an animal crossing game, and I'm picking it up on Monday, should I be exited?

I gots 80 points from an agrigas butterfly. I can't seem to find a birdwing. I might go to the island and see how much the beetles get me.

God Damn this game looks amazing, not only that but it is fun to play unlike the others (I ain't saying they are shit, they are fun but tends to get boring quick). Every time I play I get amazed about the...well everything. 10/10 Rupee's. _EDIT_ Also does the Bug Catching continue after Saturday? It is Sunday and I missed out, but no winner is announced.
