Sharks were rare as fuck, only saw like 5 in my ~6 years of playing.

yeah, probably going to buy the stuff at best buy, and i think they have displays there. i've never actually held a 3ds before, so i have no idea if my manly hands will be more suited to the original or the large version. is there any difference between them besides size and lack of charger :V?

The XL feels a lot sexier in the hand imo and the click noise of the screen locking in place is good for paranoia as well

Get the XL (get the animal crossing one like i did :v:) the screen size just sells it over the original. I used my friends non XL for about a year then I got my XL and he hates his tiny screen now.
2 days left before it arrives. Unless, of course, the post decides to throw me a bone (or in this case, my game) and I get it tomorrow.
In the mean time, though, I've been screwing about with my 3DS, getting the settings right and just generally messing with it. I downloaded the first Megaman and LoZ: Oracle of Ages from the estore. Beat Megaman yesterday, started the LoZ game today.
Sure, I could easily have emulated them, but there's something about playing them on an actual console as opposed to on a computer with a keyboard or a controller that really gets me.
And is it just me, or does the 3DS (I have the XL, if it matters) have a pretty damn long battery life compared to other handhelds?
Well that was tedious, but I finally reached 100%!
Now to stop living in a tent. I guess I'll play tomorr-

Lately my 3ds (normal) was blowing through its charge like a motherfucker and then one day it just stopped and went back to normal
Not that I'm complaining

While we are on the talk of the 3DS, I want to trade my original one into JB-HI-FI (Australian Store, not sure about other Countries), so I can get a 3DS XL, nothing is wrong with my 3DS, the screen is just too small for my eyes.

So you can only catch the colacanth when it's raining? Is it anytime during the year? Because I remember back on the GC AC I caught one mid January. One of the first fish I ever caught. Kept it in my house forever because I didn't want to give it to the museum. I didn't catch another one for months, and for some reason I recall reading somewhere that it was not supposed to be around in those Winter months.
It can during Winter. IIRC, it's only catchable when it's snowing or raining.
