Oh well, anyone know about the fates of the DLC characters? Because Lisa Lisa is in the screenshots but so is the character select with no DLC.

we will eventually get all 41 characters. It will release probably like it did for the jp release last year. Fugo probably will not be free.
So they will release one character every three weeks or something, then bump up to two once they pass two months, give or take.
I don't know if the campaign dlc is already in the game or if we will be downloading that in the future.

Campaign DLC is on the store right now actually. The EU one at least.

Yeah, but it's not so bad. The wait literally blows by. DLC was releasing really fast when I got the JP version and I just never noticed. I could only get the campagin stuff cause I wasnt paying $80 for a 40yen psn card. Fuck that noise.
They may just release them all at once after a few weeks, who knows.

Yeah, the characters released in tandum to the campaigns. It makes sense that the first is Kira and Fatty, as they are preorders and by time they come around to being released for those of us who got it, it'll be time for the next one.
By the end of it the start screen should look like... Vanilla Ice is the last character who was released.

How is the game? I enjoy Jojo's but as I said earlier in the thread all I heard was that it's all flash and no substance whatsoever.

if you're not a jojo fan, you should probably get some other fighting game instead
there have been alternate sub groups for most of the parts now, just part 5 thats mostly duwang anymore

The game is pretty great. From what I've seen of the english translation of the game it's like a duwang translation sometimes [but it's hilarious] so it works really well.
It stands on it's own as a fighting game, but it's nowhere near being perfect, nor is it exactly balanced. I mean shit, you have characters who travel alt demensions and shit. Look at it more as a party game, cause that's what it ends up being. A good time.
I haven't read much of the Manga. I'm on part 1, but I've thoroughly enjoyed the entire game and I have been following jojo for years, just never really got around to reading it.

You might like the game if you don't follow JoJo, I know a few people who liked the demo enough to pre-order despite not following JoJo.
The games pretty fun. Just finishing up Part 4. Everyone gets to beat up Rohan.
I showed my friend Dio's moves and the screeches he makes and that was enough to get him to watch at least season 1 of Jojo.
I beat both Fatty and Kira but didn't get them?

A fighting game has a story mode of 4-6 hours? That's impressive considering most don't even reach 2 hours.

I think I beat the story mode of soul caliber 4 in like, a half hour.
had everything unlocked in the same amount of time.

So after beating the story i'm still wondering about fatty and Kira. I mean their slots are on the character select screen and it's pissing me off that not only are they offset, but they're empty too.
Why would the slots be there if i can't unlock the characters?
