Maybe they didn't put the date on Kira and Shigekiyo since they are technically released. I'd hope they put them on sale for everyone soon because otherwise that would make no sense.

considering kira released for free in japan after a while i doubt they would leave him unable to be unlocked by everybody, seeing as he has a dlc slot on the screen, would be a dick move.

that would be a massive dick move since the preorder characters show up ingame and let you unlock their shit in campaign mode, and there would be at least 1 empty slot on everybodies roster forever.
also the game said to go download kira so I could play his bonus story mode misisons, which would be another slap in the face if it was never possible.
also namco said that the ps3/360 exclusive characters in soul caliber 4 would be exclusive forever, but they went back on that.
