unlocks costumes, taunts, phrases, and poses, only if you fight bosses though, and you only get costumes from beating the boss, who often has crazy ridiculous health and you'll probably need to mess around and plan to be able to take them out without their health regenerating. It's ridiculous, though I don't think a system like that has ever done well over here, so they may have changed it.

I wouldn't count on it getting too popular over here, it's functional but it's not as fast paced as Heritage for the Future

Vento Aureo was surprisingly short and you unlock like 3 characters. (The last fight is an absolute joke because you have unlimited GER versus Diavolo)
Stone Ocean is short (last fight is a little tough because Pucci activates his HHA from the start) and Diamond is Unbreakable is pretty intermediate (but pretty cost effective, you get three characters).
Battle-Tendency and Stardust Crusaders are both pretty irritatingly long, but you unlock three characters each.
Steel Ball Run and Phantom Blood are pretty long for what you get. (1 character each) I didn't touch Jojolion because I don't particularly want part 8 Josuke.
I'm still reeling from how they managed to get "Man, give me a #$%^%$# break" from "yare yare dawa" and "damn meased to pleet ya" from "happy joy-py nice to meet ya man"

besides nobody I showed the old game to with it's vanilla ice as ice'd seemed to think it was any less weird and crazy when I said "btw this guy used to be named vanilla ice in the Japanese release."

Why did they change Polnareff's name though? Even though his name is supposed to be a reference to Michel Polnareff I'm pretty sure his name is just a normal French surname. Hell, his name was still Polnareff in the Viz Media translation of Stardust Crusaders.

That's the change that hit me the hardest. I can't get over Jean Eiffel's name change holy shit.
The worst part is they haven't changed any voice acting to reflect it, so you'll still hear polnareff when the subtitles say Eiffel, also if the EU version goes mostly unchanged watch it fail in the US from everyone trying to buy that version instead.

I was just checking the asb page on the jojo wiki and it says the polnareff change is french only, I don't know how true that is but if it is you don't need to worry.

Not everyone is willing to import a copy from europe, shipping fees from the U.S to Canada where I live is fucking insane so I can only imagine how much more I'd cost to get from europe.
