It's quite heart warming to have a veteran pick up on you being new and actually helping you through and explaining the details of the game while also leveling up. Thought the community was going to be pretty toxic from the moment I clicked play but I was wrong.

maybe you could explain why you want them to do that instead of just barking orders like some dude with control issues
whenever im playing with noobs, i dont just explain what to do and not to do, but also why
that way, they actually understand what they're doing
also you can't really blame noobs for not knowing things when so much of the game is completely unexplained ingame (the down limit and how doc bags work, destroying cameras paths guards to them, open vault in shadow raid sets off guards, etc)
on one hand this design is ugly as sin but on the other hand I think I'm onto something

It's obvious, yeah, but consider that nothing else sets of guards like that. Locked camera room door suddenly open? Not even worth glancing at. Crate that was just closed a minute ago suddenly crowbared open? Must've always been like that.
And yeah, the camera thing is something almost no one knows about. It always annoys me when doing Diamond Store, people break the cam outside the sec room then go off to do other things and I'm stuck sitting there waiting for a guard to investigate because no one else will and if he sees the broken camera, that's an alarm.
haha sweet I was able to redo dw shadow raid with like 20 bags including the armor. i could of gotten the artifact from the container that gets airdropped in but the point of no return was at 30 seconds.

If you play with a community group, it tends to not be as bad. Facepunch has a steam group around somewhere that's pretty decent.

Is Goonmod considered a cheat? Do I run any risk of being banned if I use it? It's got a really cool feature list, but some of them seem a bit janky. Like the Gage coins and Gage shop thing? If that allows you to more quickly unlock specific bits and bobs, isn't it kind of bypassing the game systems?

I doubt the game will label you as a cheater. I just don't go mentioning the features as you never know who could be paranoid about it.
Goddamn the hardest part about stealth is someone fucking it up and doing a restart, which without fail always crashes my game.

In general it is considered cheating if you're doing some shit like spawning loot bags of of thin air, deploying infinite indestructible turrets that shoot nades, shooting endlessly from RPG without having to reload, spawning friendly bulldozers etc., etc.
Using Goonmod to buy stuff with gage coins or using PP to up levels and unlock mods depends on who you ask. In game you [B]won't[/B] be marked as cheater by doing that.

Even accidentally leaving mutators on won't get you marked as cheater so don't worry, having mutators turned on will cause achievement progress to be halted until turned off though.

One thing still doesn't make sense, every time escape comes twitch is dead in the van, does he have like bazillion brothers?
Can't help but think that Jacket shouldn't have had his face shown, should have been something like another mask underneath.
jacket's face is so cartoony and low quality compared to everyone else's. it's not that it shouldn't have been shown; it just doesn't blend in with the game at all

His voice is also really inconsistent.
I feel like twitch is the expert driver and the driver whenever the crew is on a mission without an escape mission being possible. But it's the same voice because overkill didn't bother recording diferent audio.
Heck, the driver in watchdogs [B]is[/B] someone the crew just hired after all.
I also feel odd about twitch in hoxout, he sounds so diferent from the other heists. He actually sounds a bit mexican to me in it, compared to every other time he is heard. He reminds me more of the boat driver in watch dogs

Jacket's face is good quality, Wick's is pretty poor though and doesn't look much like Keanu Reeves.

The worst is people who restart the moment the slightest thing goes wrong.
Three of the dudes fall down the Shadow Raid ladder and get downed, restart (Never mind that I have inspire so it would've taken me less than ten seconds to revive all of them)
Thermal paste dupe only results in three cans instead of four, restart.
Anything happens, restart.
After the fourth restart they pulled for a stupid reason, I gave up and left that lobby.
