Does this also apply if you use a pickup disabled weapon like the Minigun or RPG?
Cause that'd make it even easier to fill my secondary slot with it
Yes, the update which brought the ammo changes also made it so that the saw, rpg and minigun counts as a full weapon at all times, and as such having any of those, no matter how much ammo they got, will guarantee you at least one ammo per ammo pickup for weapons that can pick up ammo.

I wonder what that picture is for "I'm An Avenger!".
Stealth confirmed, then. Or rather stealth-capable.
I just hope it's not the mallcrasher kind of stealth capable.
I don't get this viable talk I keep seeing people discuss. The weapons are sexy as fuck on Overkill, are we talking Deathwish?
If I'm not really playing seriously, I just use whatever weapon I want just because I can. If I'm actually trying to achieve something, then I use "viable" weapons.

taser confirmed for traitor everyone go home
It's amusing how everything about The Elephant's contracts are bad. Not just the heists design, and the obnoxious emphasis on stealth, but the actual contractor is a jackass too. It's just hilarious how every time I play one of his contracts, I'm loathing the contractor, and the heist designs themselves. I almost wish he was the traitor so we could cream him.
maybe you could explain why you want them to do that instead of just barking orders like some dude with control issues
whenever im playing with noobs, i dont just explain what to do and not to do, but also why
that way, they actually understand what they're doing
also you can't really blame noobs for not knowing things when so much of the game is completely unexplained ingame (the down limit and how doc bags work, destroying cameras paths guards to them, open vault in shadow raid sets off guards, etc)
It really depends on what I'm doing. If I'm on Normal, Hard, or Very Hard, I'm gonna be a lot more forgiving with mistakes and try to help people out whenever possible. I let players learn and fuck up. When I'm on Overkill I'm gonna help out with some mistakes but I'm going to expect you have a base level of competence. I'll only kick for just being a moron, like refusing to escape or communicate or otherwise actively harming the team.
On DW or something like Tabula Rasa I'm going to expect that you know exactly what you're doing. If you're doing DW you should know heists forwards, backwards, and sideways. When Jimmy 0-20 joins in the middle of a Deathwish game and immediately gets downed three times or uses a medic bag with 50% health and no downs or something I'm going to kick them because there's a time and place to be learning and experimenting as a new player and Deathwish is not that time or place.

When you think about it, that means Overkill did their job perfectly, he is a slimy ends justify the means asshole who may or may not have some good intentions but is so stuck up his ass that he is nothing more than a crook, a righteous crook.

the one the taser truly betrays is himself by tasing the perp wielding a shotgun aimed point blank at his face
Is Goonmod considered a cheat? Do I run any risk of being banned if I use it? It's got a really cool feature list, but some of them seem a bit janky. Like the Gage coins and Gage shop thing? If that allows you to more quickly unlock specific bits and bobs, isn't it kind of bypassing the game systems?
The only problem is that mutators disable achievements temporarily. It will indirectly get you marked as a cheater on sites like pd2stats.com if, for instance, you go Infamous with the mod enabled. You will be Infamous but the achievement for Infamy will not unlock, and the site will go "Oh hey this guy went Infamous without unlocking the achievement, clearly that means he cheated."
the one the taser truly betrays is himself by tasing the perp wielding a shotgun aimed point blank at his face
Speaking of shotguns and faces, there is no greater joy then moving on a dozer, blowing away the face plate, and then crouching and pressing your shotgun up to its face and watching the dozer ragdoll 15 feet straight up.
GO HOME AND BE A FAMILY MAN!
Just got Firestarter's magazine achieve plus sidejob as a fughost. Man, that is a varied mission- first you have a remote area, then the FBI building, and then a bank. The worst part was the two turrets that appeared on Bank and would've ruined our fun if sitting inside didn't mitigate them entirely. I think they halved the health on it, but what they should do is fix the front armor problem as well (as in, it's way too hard to shoot that off).
Why do people still do loud bank jobs? Especially when you have a ghost build, it is the absolute easiest stealth job in the game.

I've always liked how each contractor has their own style. Vlad heists are always chaotic, small-time heists with the intention of boosting his status in the criminal underworld. Hector heists are usually violent but with the plan of taking down other cartels in the long run. The Elephant's heists center around political engineering and usually require discretion.
Besides, I actually like his heists. Big Oil is a pretty interesting heist with cool level design. Framing Frame became a lot less annoying with the preplanning updates they added in. Election day is a cool heist with an interesting gimmick of there being two different second days, and is great for XP when you ECM rush it thanks to the very large XP bonus.

I like stealth as much as the next guy, but it gets dreadfully boring. Sometimes, you just gotta go loud.
I like stealth as much as the next guy, but it gets dreadfully boring. Sometimes, you just gotta go loud.
I use stealth bank jobs to run around and do things.
Stealth feels good to accomplish, but going loud is probably the best because you get some proper action than "gotta make sure this guy doesn't stand the fuck up" or "hope some passerby won't see this"

IT WAS ME, MATT!
FOOLED YOU GUYS!
It gets old quick. I usually go loud more often than not. Sometimes it's nice to have a relaxing stealth mission but I'd rather go loud these days. Besides, what's the more impressive feat: Bank Heist DW stealth or Bank Heist DW loud?
i want tomorrow to go like this.
Hox: "lets see who this traitor is"

Hey folks, this evening and/or weekend I'm planning to try and finish off the unlock-related Hotline Miami achievements.
I still need Sounds of Animals Fighting (complete the heist while you and your four man crew are wearing one different Hotline Miami mask each on hard or above) and Walk Faster (reach the Commissar’s apartment in under 210 seconds on the OVERKILL difficulty or above).
So basically I need three of y'all with different Hotline Miami masks (I have all of them but Rasmus) to help me out. I'll probably post on the Steam group before I start it up but if you wanna add me now that's cool too. Thanks!
