Hey folks, this evening and/or weekend I'm planning to try and finish off the unlock-related Hotline Miami achievements.
I still need Sounds of Animals Fighting (complete the heist while you and your four man crew are wearing one different Hotline Miami mask each on hard or above) and Walk Faster (reach the Commissar’s apartment in under 210 seconds on the OVERKILL difficulty or above).
So basically I need three of y'all with different Hotline Miami masks (I have all of them but Rasmus) to help me out. I'll probably post on the Steam group before I start it up but if you wanna add me now that's cool too. Thanks!
i can help you with both, I'll add you. Im original.
I play loads of games with you fellow Facepunchers and everything goes great most of the time.
I play one single game of Cook Off because of no one from the FP PD2 group joining my other games. I play it with pubs.
Levels 60something, 50something and 40something.
Non-infamied.
They blew up the fucking lab on the very first ingredient.
It would have been excusable if Bain said complicated shit like "The website says chloride soda hydrogen mix. I don't know, try something.".
But the line was "Mu-muriatic acid. Get some and pour it in there.".
Remind me to never play anything without you guys ever again.
What Bain says is different for every person, and he often says the wrong ingredient. People that haven't played Rats much may not catch on to the fact that Bain is often wrong and that you need to consult teammates to see what he told them.
anyone else think they'll keep the identity of the traitor ambiguous? seems like they're really inclined to not give them a name, and based on the achievement icon feels like they might have a mask to hide their face on too

here's a fast track way to disappoint everyone
anyone else think they'll keep the identity of the traitor ambiguous? seems like they're really inclined to not give them a name, and based on the achievement icon feels like they might have a mask to hide their face on too
I have a feeling it'll be a known character just behind a mask and some heavy armor for some Commissar-esque boss battle.
the one the taser truly betrays is himself by tasing the perp wielding a shotgun aimed point blank at his face
"Be strong for mother" thought tazer as he tazed masked dude pointing grenade launcher point-blank at him.
So one question for you Coyo: what happend to the public betas? We only got one and literally after that we didn't got anything and we had a good amount of stuff that could had passed on PB and test for playerbase opinion. Especially the turret: why Almir or who organizes the tests preferred to make the test to some streamers instead to make it avaible for everybody so you guys could go and tweak during the updates? There is a few streamers that are decent playing the game and actually care about the game nowdays
Traitor is Hoxton from the future, so he could get in jail, be rescued by Payday gang, get a lot of money with them, spend it on time machine invention, and begin this cycle again.

It's probably to not spoil the identity for those who didn't do the heist

Kinda wish there were more concrete rules to that. Something like HM's meth lab but with variety and indication - bain says acid - after that you could add either soda or hydrogen afterwards, and it is visible (a little fire over respective vessel). Or just bain says recipie beforehand - "soda, hydrogen, acid".
Also, an Bain often says to add secret ingredient - snipers.
Really, really tired of this Swat Turret bullshit.

Sniping from halfway across the level.

Stunlocking bots.

Total team wipe.
I put god knows how many Thanatos shots into the laser part it and it still wouldn't go down. Really, why do people think this thing is a good addition to the game?
I hope we get a live action trailer for the heist tomorrow like Hoxout

I hope this means the heist is an assassination mission. No loot focus
I did a DW Hoxton breakout earlier today and the turret really wasn't a big problem.
Maybe like 1 person got downed by it. We just stayed behind the escape car,the cops hit so hard on DW you have to stay in cover anyway, on OVK it encourages players to take cover and not to rely on dodge to save them from everything.
It really is manageable unless you play solo exclusively. You just gotta remember it's there and take cover instead of shooting it.
I hope this means the heist is an assassination mission. No loot focus
"Oh! That traitor guy sure had conveniently some money stashed on him! If you're feeling greedy you can grab it!"
I love how the turret makes escaping by van in Watchdogs impossible.
"Oh! That traitor guy sure had conveniently some money stashed on him! If you're feeling greedy you can grab it!"
I can say right now that there are [sp]suitcases that might have coke and money.[/sp]
Also the traitor is located [sp]in an FBI safehouse.[/sp]
"Oh! That traitor guy sure had conveniently some money stashed on him! If you're feeling greedy you can grab it!"
"The Traitor is stashing some of the money given to him by the Feds in exchange for his information. Why don't you steal it back while you're here?"
I love how the turret makes escaping by van in Watchdogs impossible.
So Bain now just sends a driver right to his inevitable death. Nice.
"Oh! That traitor guy sure had conveniently some money stashed on him! If you're feeling greedy you can grab it!"
don't forget the hidden meth lab in his closet
Maybe that means we can get a 'taser' helmet as a mask?
don't forget the hidden meth lab in his closet
And some ATM in his bathroom
Also, considering The Comissar's HP (3500) The Traitor will probably have 35000 HP but could be killed instantly in stealth.
anyone else realise that the spring break banner in itself was teasing the whole driveable cars thing before we even got to see it for ourselves?
"Be strong for mother" thought tazer as he tazed masked dude pointing grenade launcher point-blank at him.
I've giggled a few times at Taser doing his little evil laugh tasing my friend in the back, only for said friend to do a perfect 180 while shocked and launch an rpg his way
It's also mind numbingly boring.
If you think Bank heist stealth jobs are boring, what about the very long winded stealth missions like the bomb missions.
Those things can take more then an hour to do and it's all tedious.
Also, considering The Comissar's HP (3500) The Traitor will probably have 35000 HP but could be killed instantly in stealth.
I'd imagine that he will be more of a running away type of "boss" that you only get the hold of him at the very end of the heist.

no dw pro job achievement would imply the heist doesn't have a pro job variant, which would mean that it's a single day heist since only multi day heists have a pro job variant (except ukrainian job but that's the exception that makes the rule i guess)
This is the best way to do Hoxton Breakout:
