I'm ashamed... I was going to do the daily job on Normal with the first guys that I saw, so I switched skillset and filled Enforcer. I start the mission, easy as hell even boring, and then day3 loadout screen. Then it hit me. Unlocking the skill doesn't give it on the inventory. There's only one way out... So it takes 11 shots with the Thanatos to rip off the shield of the turret and then kill the gun by shooting it in the laser part on Overkill. Curiously, the shield only has 7500 hitpoints on Overkill, meaning only 3 or so shots should have destroyed the shield. Apparently,[B] the shield of the turret cannot take more than 750 damage in one shot[/B]; if it takes more damage than that in a single shot, it lowers the damage down to 750. [B]The laser part itself takes 200x damage[/B] if shot once the shield is down. [B]Explosives do x7 damage against the shield and the turret itself, but not the weakspot,[/B] meaning they aren't that useful (even the RPG gets brought down to 750 damage to the shield, meaning you need to hit the turret and not the shield 5 times to kill it, and 10 times just to destroy the shield). [B]The turret has an 80% chance to spawn a flashbang if you damaged it in the past 10 seconds and are less than 8 meters away.[/B] If the chance to do so fails, it will evaluate it again 3-6 seconds later. Basically, if you're close to it you will be nearly non stop flashbanged. It takes the turret 1.5 seconds to spot you at 35 meters. Less than that range makes high detection risk players spotted faster, but weirdly more than that range causes low detection risk players to be spotted faster. The turret can see 100 meters away. The fastest it can spot you is 0.3 seconds. The turret does variable damage at different distances, meaning it can cause you to take damage during the cooldown period after being shot if you move to close and the bullet does more damage. On Overkill and closer than 8 meters, it does 60 damage, at 15 meters it does 15 damage. [B]The turret will forget where you are if you move 7 meters from where you are in cover from it while not being seen by it, while also being at least 10 meters away from it to begin with.[/B] If fires for 24 seconds of sustained fire, with a magazine of 400 bullets and an RPM of 1000, then takes 8 seconds to reload. Credit for all this info goes to [url=http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=267214370]The Long Guide.[/url] Basically, it requires the whole team to focus fire on it, as otherwise a single player is going to have to use a lot of ammo and time to take it out because high damage weapons get capped. It can snipe you from far away meaning it's hard to even hit the shield at a distance. It basically forces the whole team to not go to certain areas, especially if they have slow movement speeds and no dodge, meaning Techforcers get pummeled. Playing with actual people it feels manegable, but bots just get stunlocked by it hard and are too stupid to shoot at it or move out of the way. If Overkill can just fix bots getting raped by it I think I'd be less peeved about the turret.

does the turret even have a proper hitbox? I can't for the life of me hit it with the gl40, seems like the nades go right through

Turret could've been a sonic cannon instead of being a bullet hose. Prevent you from marking targets, dominating, or using Inspire.
ugh I own SpeedRunners and I love the game but I own and play PD2 on an alt account which means there's no way I can get the masks legitimately. I just want the SpeedRunner mask to see if I can paint it yellow or not. :( Also why did I get to play as Dragan when I joined a heist mid-game and Jacket was already occupied and I don't own Dragan?

So, with my latest stealth heists, I've been wondering about ECM rushes- I have 2 ECMs that go for 31 seconds, and I'm wondering what exactly can I do that'll require that many. If they're few and far between, I'd like to find a few people willing to run through a DW heist with just our wits, our ECMs, and possibly our dodge builds. On OVK, only three are needed, since the bag requirement is lower.

I still have trouble believing the SWAT Turret has 500,000 health, even though hud mods and guides keep saying that. My team killed one the other day, and with average damage weapons (~35 damage), it would have taken us ~14,500 rounds of ammunition to do that. But I'm pretty damn sure we didn't expend anywhere near that much ammo. My MP5 only holds 218 rounds and I only made one restocking trip, not sure about my teammates but I'm pretty sure they didn't just happen to have 10k - 14k rounds laying to shoot off while also fighting cops and taking cover.

If you're shooting the weakspot it doesn't take much ammo.

The rat didn't have a unique model when I checked, it used a Russian mobster model (most likely a placeholder).[/sp]
