I just helped a new guy through his first heist and taught him about skills, perks and gun modifications.
I feel good.

which i am ok with.

I would miss the character interaction a lot. It played a major role in PD:TH, the gang and Bain were constantly discussing plans on the fly, or talking to other npcs.
As much as I love seeing ragdolls fly into Saturn's gravitational field, I really want a script that enables the stock death animations whenever you kill someone with a shotgun during loud.
One of the main reasons why I loved the Reinbeck from PD:TH wasn't because of the godly range or the satisfying glass shatter when HS-ing a Heavy SWAT, but it was because of the dramatic death animations that the cops would play when you erm, headshot them.
So i just bought this game when it was on 80% sale. So what are we talking about?
Play the game more, preferably with friends. Familiarise yourself with the mechanics, the community's funny maymays and the general plot of the game then come back
here is a summary of the plot
men rob banks
man get into jail
men rob grocery stores
man get out of jail
men become domestic terrorists
man about to find out who put him in jail

PDTH was drastically different, and that's not just the maps. The levelling works differently, skills work differently, downs work differently, guns work differently.

PDTH has an overall different feeling.
To me,PDTH distinctly feels like a heist movie in game form, while PD2 feels like a game about heisting.

PD2 is getting a huge VO update with all the actors (to my knowledge) and will include things like more interaction. The Suggestions sub-area has a thread by Viklund and his twitter has talked about it.
Rest assured, we will be seeing interaction once more.

hey i am clover thank you very much
Got the right truck on election day 1 ecm on first try, awesome.
I have no idea if they genuinely are porting PD:TH's heists but I imagine they will be done differently and as stated by many, the core gameplay between them is very different.
Besides, PD:TH came out almost 4 years ago and has almost no players, L4D2 looked, felt, played, and sounded exactly like L4D1 and basically was just a huge content update that came out a year (or less?) later.
i just did election day dw solo stealth.
i can't stealth for shit and i never do solo
<3
only 2 pagers, 1 bodybag
So, do you guys think that the jobs will be 2 days? Honestly, as long as it has some re playability like Car Shop and unlocks some cool loot like Hoxout I wouldn't mind
Wish there was heist that's like 5 days long.
So I'm doing a bingo sheet for Hoxton's Revenge, but I need some suggestions.
Either PM, Steam message or reply to me for suggestion and I'll pick the best 25.
Wish there was heist that's like 5 days long.
You say this, but in reality do you really want to play a heist for that long? Imagine it's a pro job, and each day takes about half an hour. You die on the last day, that's two hours up in smoke.
Or worse, the host kicks you so he can get his freeloading buddies in. Or the host crashes.
Wish there was heist that's like 5 days long.
Then the host leaves on the escape of day 5.

Heist gives more XP than Hoxton Breakout.

I have bunch of friends who I play with, they are not dropping out or doing any stupid shit + we all play till 3-4 AM so time is not a problem.
Pro or Not Pro is your own choice, you know the risk you are going for so it doesn't matter really.

New Christmas Heist: The 12 Days of Heisting
I hope Hoxton Revenge wont finish the PD2 storyline, I mean yeah there is casino after that but that's last heist from dentist. Then what? I hope they come up with new story plot/extend it.

highly unlikely, the games got another year to go, they'll throw something new into the mix (they already have for example, the butcher + gage's ambiguous disappearance)
