I love getting kicked out of a lobby because I'm not infamy.
There's also several tapes around house to play, it was quite hard to make anything out during a firefight but i take [sp]hector wasn't really in good terms with FBI either[/sp]
[sp]The FBI were escorting the Mendozas out of the country when Hector had the payday crew kill both parties, and that was years after he sold Hoxton out. I guess he was wanted to screw everyone.[/sp]
[sp]Also whole thing with Hector makes sense if you look at it from FBI point - make a 'honeypot' - contractor for payday gang[/sp] [editline]21st March 2015[/editline]
[sp]The FBI were escorting the Mendozas out of the country when Hector had the payday crew kill both parties, and that was years after he sold Hoxton out. Overkill played the biggest ruse cruise on us ever, with this and the Car shop heist. Almir is Kojima Jr
So all in all, what's your opinions on the Spring Break event as a whole?

Or is this supposed to be some deep undercover thing where he was secretly working with the FBI but most of the FBI agents don't know that?[/sp]
Amazing, the entire level made out of every awful designers choice in the game. Snipers spam, enemies spawn literally in front of you, 2 FUCKING SENTRY GUNS at close range. And you MUST steal bags of loot when the heist clearly not about bags and robbery. OVK, plz.
75% (6 out of 8) bags too. "That's all evidence we need, but if you're feeling lucky you can grab more" - two more bags, brilliant. [editline]21st March 2015[/editline]
[sp]Weren't the FBI trying to arrest him during PD2 and in the web series though? The weirdest thing about the evidence bags is the pre-mission thing made it sound like we were going to destroy them which makes sense, then suddenly we're keeping evidence against us and Bain's paying us for it or something? I was expecting to have to burn a bunch of stuff or shred files or something, not just pack up some bags and steal them.
[sp]Honestly, I'm glad The Elephant wasn't the rat. It allows them to make an even better heist eventually that'll have us break into his house, take all the gold/paintings/etc we gave him, and take him down. Hector is a little dissapointing, but as it's been said it makes sense.[/sp]

We can sell this shit on a black market!"
"Oh hey, evidence of our crimes! We can sell this shit on a black market!"
New item: Selfie camera. Take pictures of yourself while committing crime for extra cash!
Speaking of Vlad, suddenly I'd like to have him as a heister. "After getting intoxicated on vodka, he uh... decided to spice up his life and get things done hand-to-hand with us" [editline]21st March 2015[/editline] If they aren't going to nerf the turrets, at least make bots avoid its line of fire.
the informer mask you get is nice though
So all in all, what's your opinions on the Spring Break event as a whole?
If we're talking about as a whole, I guess you have to include the Hype Train process. I didn't like the hype train event at all, I thought it was poorly executed, and I felt quite a few of the stretch goals were questionable and didn't need to be on there at all, such as the Casino preview, flying ten people to California, and the silly convention. I personally found it hilarious how one of the biggest boosts to the hype fuel counter was from a game that wasn't Payday 2. For the actual day-by-day release of content on Spring Break, what is painfully obvious is that Overkill has quite a bit of trouble trying to churn out content in such short deadlines. Especially without bugs. I personally feel the only good days with very few flaws were the standalone version of certain heists, the butcher pack, and ironically the controversial one, Bonnie. Everything else felt like it was very poorly executed, and below average. Side jobs was a disappointment, because it turned out to be nothing more than doing achievements, and not actual additional content within heists. The SWAT turret is a complete overpowered mess that is nothing short of being irritating, and is just not fun to fight against. Car shop heist is little more than a demo for being able to drive cars, and that car-driving gimmick is behind some very awkward, and poor stealth-only mechanics you need to get by first. I'm not going to say anything about Hoxton Revenge, because I feel I need to examine the heist a little more before coming to conclusion on whether it's worthwhile, or underwhelming. Overall, if I had to give it a grade on a scale 1-10, I'd probably give it a 4 or 5. Now it's time for the healing process, Overkill needs to evaluate everything they released, and make them better/fix them. It'll be very annoying if they immediately go right back to making new DLC content without bothering to fix the stuff they released here first.

Had a perfect DW solo stealth going, timelock was running, and of course every guard possible walks into the one room where I had bodies. Perfect.
The guy talking to the rat in the tapes sounds a bit like [sp]the elephant[/sp]
Am I the only one who dived straight into HoxRev heist on OVK and got gunned down within a minute of alarm start? :v: Also I just noticed some masks have "Return" option, what does it do?

It works essentially the same as selling except you get the mask back into the pool of ones you can purchase

P.S - That's awesome, I always kept all my masks stock for years now being afraid of fucking it up, I guess I can experiment now, thank you guys.
Right in the middle of downloading the update, getting all excited to finally give the heist a go and find out who the traitor was. Then some cunt just made it an announcement in the FP PD2 group then immediately deleted it. Thanks for spoiling it.
I hope someone will eventually upload those audio evidence tapes to YouTube because when you go loud on hoxrevenge I can't hear shit except for special enemy unit spam.
I hope someone will eventually upload those audio evidence tapes to YouTube because when you go loud on hoxrevenge I can't hear shit except for special enemy unit spam.
It'd be great if finishing the heist added the tape players to the Safe House so you could go there to listen to them. While we're at it, how about adding some mementos of other heists as well?
Finally DL'ed the update and ran the heist-- it honestly seems pretty fun, but it's just way too short for the amount of windup we've had. With a couple of modifications it'd probably make an excellent Breakout Day 3, though. Also you can apparently reverse-dupe the keys on the car shop heist.
