Is it just me or is the community of this game a bunch of impatient assholes?
I really wish Overkill would sort out the way that Fully Loaded Ace and Walk in Closet don't stack with eachother nor with any weapons with changed max ammo (Rifle DMR Kits or custom shotgun ammo)
So, the "fireworks". What was the deal?

It's pretty damn stupid that Fully Loaded, an Enforcer skill, doesn't actually work with shotguns using specialized ammo, even though shotguns are basically Enforcer weapons.
Why can we only move certain masks/guns in the inventory? I end up having to push everything around with one mask to get the layout I want.
You can move everything though, it just has to be equipped.
So what's the deal with Side Jobs? The in game text seems to say you can do old challenges forever, but tabula rasa went away for me, even though it's still available for my girlfriend. I hope I haven't lost my chance to get Dillinger forever. :\
You can move everything though, it just has to be equipped.
woah
So considering weekly jobs give you an infamous item, who's gonna bet that the week of Golden Grin's reveal will have The Grin as the item? Personally I wouldn't mind it, though I run with my own The Grin I missed my chance to color it gold and would like a second chance (unless there's a way to hack yourself more gooncoins)
Is it just me or is the community of this game a bunch of impatient assholes?
We are the community of this game :( For real there are a lot of horrendous people out there, but there are also plenty of friendly folk too.
Opening all the deposit boxes in Bank Heist but then I realize I'm only on Very Hard. Not sure if it's truly worth it but I need mega dosh for decent weapons. Should I attempt to get to Lockpicking Expert? I'm gonna be stuck doing solo missions until I fix my net issues.

It's useful for a stealth build but when it comes to deposit boxes go saw or go home.
Never understood why Big Oil heist is called Big Oil, first time when I read the name of it I thought we have to steal like barrels or tanker truck of crude oil or something. Also I wish they would make heist like in Breaking Bad train heist.

The new engine threatens the business of the fuel companies, so you're stealing it to let them copy the technology and profit from it themselves.
When I saw Big Oil I expected some crazy Oil Derrick heist. Starting to think I might just drop my Ghost skills and go full techforcer.
Dougly, did you get any further on the custom levels? Like can loot be added yet or doors changed to different types, like having Shadow Raids catwalk doors be wooden ones like Hotline's?
side jobs had so much potential in making getting the mods you need so much easier, alleviating most of the frustration with cards but they completely fucked it up by allowing you to get generic sights and gadgets when selecting a specific weapon
Dougly, did you get any further on the custom levels? Like can loot be added yet or doors changed to different types, like having Shadow Raids catwalk doors be wooden ones like Hotline's?
Fully functional, almost. We can build/edit any heist. Right now, we're working on exporting/importing an existing heist, and fixing importing issues to get an idea how to approach custom ones. We've fully re-imported Car Shop with minimal issues, it's mostly down to bad rotation and some objectives not operating correctly.
So, I was doing Hoxton Revenge, after killing the rat I was going to move the evidence to the chopper, moved the bags to the rooftop and then I see 2 red lines pointing at me. Bile had the bright idea of land close of 2 enemy turret instead of just landing close to the vault.
Because Big Oil is what people call the fuel industry, which is what the heist is about. The new engine threatens the business of the fuel companies, so you're stealing it to let them copy the technology and profit from it themselves.
I got the impression it wasn't so they could copy the technology, but so they could destroy it, because it threatens their continued profit by being a cheap and essentially unlimited supply of clean energy.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ywEyhx4.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/V46eDzs.png[/t]
Who makes these?
Apparently the bots don't path to the roof of the house on Hoxton Breakout. Meaning, if you get downed by Snipers/Turrets and you can't get a human to revive you you're fucked. I learned that the hard way the first time I played the heist.
Has anyone else encountered the bug where the grenade launcher's grenades pass through the swat van turrets? Shit's annoying
Because Big Oil is what people call the fuel industry, which is what the heist is about. The new engine threatens the business of the fuel companies, so you're stealing it to let them copy the technology and profit from it themselves.
I always imagined that they stole the technology and buried it, so that virtually free, clean energy would never arrive, cementing the dominance of the big oil industry.
I got the impression it wasn't so they could copy the technology, but so they could destroy it, because it threatens their continued profit by being a cheap and essentially unlimited supply of clean energy.
I dunno, it always gave me the feeling that they were less "AHAHAHA we shall destroy it because we are Captain Planet villains!" and more "If we sit on this for a while and prevent the inventor from releasing it himself, we can keep making money for a while, then release this new miracle engine and make even more money!" I mean if they just wanted to destroy it, why go to the effort of stealing the working engine when you could just pour thermite over all of them and melt the whole thing into slag?
I dunno, it always gave me the feeling that they were less "AHAHAHA we shall destroy it because we are Captain Planet villains!" and more "If we sit on this for a while and prevent the inventor from releasing it himself, we can keep making money for a while, then release this new miracle engine and make even more money!" By sending the Payday gang in they have a convenient cover; it was merely an act of domestic terrorism. Easy to cover up.
Are the odds different for mask customization items to drop during a payday? I have dozens of materials and patterns but only three colors.
Who's to say that's not what they did after they had the engine? By sending the Payday gang in they have a convenient cover; it was merely an act of domestic terrorism. Easy to cover up.
Possibly, but I still think them sitting on the technology is more likely. Any oil company person with two brain cells to rub together knows that their source of income won't last forever and it'd be smart to have a plan for the future. And why spend some of your delicious profit on researching things yourself when you can just steal from someone who's already figured it out?
