I have recently fell in love with the RPK. Decent amount of ammo, hits 42 damage, has 10 accuracy, and is generally slav/10 would aahhh motherland again. I love this thing.
LMGs on tight indoor maps are god-like. Combine with the Muscle deck's panic, enough threat rating, and you can basically clear out whole rooms and undo spam. Their only issues are shields (if you save grenades or have that one skill to knock'em around, not even an issue) and reloading. The MG42 Buzzsaw has enough ammo to easily survive, and the rest can with an ammo bag. All you need to do is bring an accurate secondary to deal with snipers.
Reloading isn't that bad with the RPK as long as you make sure to always do it before the gun's completely empty, only takes 3.4 seconds to swap the drum then (And 4.56 seconds from completely empty). Comparatively, the Buzzsaw always takes 6.5 seconds, the KSP always takes 5.62 seconds and the Brenner takes 5.6 seconds with a round already chambered, 6.7 seconds from completely empty.
LMGs have one very important things most guns really lack. Bullets. LOTS OF THEM. 300 total at least, and 750 at most with Vulcan. Meanwhile ARs take a while to reload without a high tier skill, which SUCKS at higher difficulties when cops swarm the place, and struggle to get past 150 round limit. Target acquisition and accuracy mean fuck all if your gun is empty and police surround you.
Plus if you put the aluminium grip, classic stock and competitor's compensator on the RPK, it hits 14 accuracy which is enough for most applications. Doesn't hit the 40 damage breakpoint, but 3 shots to kill isn't a big deal, especially when you have so much ammo to spare.

Good God, when will you folks learn to stop arguing with Grimhound? He has been banned three times this month for throwing tantrums and starting dumb arguments in here, but you still bite every time.

Two things, can we get more car based heists where we fuck over the same company? That secretary has amazing lines. Also when do we get Archer as a character. I will crowdfund that to be a thing.
If there's anything I do agree with, though, LMGs are only actually a good option on deathwish because you get swarmed and you actually need the hail of bullets to deal with crowds. On overkill, it isn't really necessary.

[editline]r[/editline] "Some say, they've fixed every election in the past two years and have more money than the entire United Kingdom and its colonies....all we know is, they're called the Payday Gang!"
Hey, we just got 2+ years added to the DLC support of the game, international heists could totally be a thing. I want this game to be that episode of Top Gear with the heist if you can't tell.

it's like 8p.m. in swedenland and the bugfix isn't here yet won't surprise me if they release it at 10p.m like car shop anyways
There is that too, I've never really used Muscle though, Armorer just seems too generally useful to switch away from IMO, plus I prefer cops to stand still so I can shoot them easier.
Well that the thing, when they panic they go Stark still, crouch down and clutch their head in a manner that presents their head very nicely, leading to a very easy follow-up head-shot. The king of Disturbing the peace is of course the Vulcan, but that comes with it's own downsides (still fun as heck) See I tend to roll Masterforcer, with one point in dominator so I can always take a hostage, them panicking seems to make it easier to dominate a guy. Plus the fact that you get a whopping %90 health boost from the Muscle perks makes you into a mean machine that eat bullets and craps damage (along with inspires)

That sounds really bloody useful, I'll have to try out Muscle deck next time I play, thanks for that!
Anyone have suggestions for a solid Run and Gun/Loud build? I'm not focused on using a type of gun or armor (except maybe heavy due to being so slow). I just want to be effective in constantly running around and blowing shit up and mowing people down. Currently looking at Fugiforcer with bits from everything else.
I recently completely filled out the Rogue perk deck. It's quite a rush with the boosted movement speed and weapon switch, man.

You've got a stamina boost (Sprint more!), Kilmer aced (Sprint reload!) and Inspire aced (Sprint revive!) and a bunch of other skills that are just generally useful.
About all this malarkey on LMGs, I just want to put in my 2 cents. While you may have disagreements on most of them, the RPK is one of the best guns in the game, it's powerful enough when you get it to 42 damage. You don't just fire them willy nilly like an idiot, in controlled bursts you can rack up kills like it's nothing. High mag capacity and high damage with reasonable accuracy make it one of the best guns to use. The move speed loss isn't so bad granted you've got movement speed buffs.

Plus they're pretty perk deck flexible.

I just met the most inept player ever when trying a car shop heist. He was Infamy 1-84. The first try, we did the heist 99% successfully, but he stole the fucking car I unlocked and we lost. The next 2 or 3 tries were just him failing, making us lose, until the host just said "How are you infamy 1?" and left.
