"Union Jackass" fuck twitter oh my god
They did good with Hoxton Revenge stealth, because they followed the Shadow Raid formula decent enough, but Car Shop is just terrible, terrible stealth, they should be ashamed of it.
Pretty sure Car Shop isn't meant to be stealthed in the traditional way. You're supposed to bumfuck rush it with ECMs. That's why there's a shitload of guards and civvies, and of course the speedrun achievement. It's not like Hoxton Revenge where it punishes you ECM rushing unless you do it after you open the vault as it stops the countdown.
Requesting overweight Hoxton mod. Hoxtonne. Also are there any easier ways to make beaucoup dollar running solo other than stealthing Ukranian Job on Overkill? I've done bank heist a few times but getting a decent roll and being able to pull it off quickly is too time consuming with my current build.
Look at Simon Viklund's twitter, he's asking us what should Houston call Hoxton.
Prison bike, and limey twat are the only ones I can think of. I'm so glad to hear they're actually going to take the suggestion of Hoxton and Houston being catty to each other, I can't wait to trade insults back and forth.
I thought of 'wanker'

The fact that the only consistent method is just rushing it with ECMs is boring, and insulting for a stealth-only heist. A heist that holds a stealth-only attribute should first, and foremost excel in that area, and ECM rushing being the only consistent method is just flat out bad.
Look at Simon Viklund's twitter, he's asking us what should Houston call Hoxton.
If my dreams come true he can just be Hoxtonne forever.
I'm really, really like that they're giving Houston more personality. Hell, I'm glad they're putting more effort into voice acting in general- hopefully the more characters they'll keep up this effort.
Gave a shot at editing Mega Wolf http://cloud-2.steamusercontent.com/ugc/527259225913515853/62CD0A76BF865E6CC0CC1EF8C01F22476AB648A0/
Just finished Solo DW Hoxton Revenge. Play as John Wick, 2 Shot at [sp]Hector[/sp]'s Belly and finish him with headshot. Bag all 8 evidences I dont know I feel both good and bad for him at the same time.
Trying to do the side job for Nightclub. DJ gets stuck in every wall he walks into and I have never felt so happy gunning down a hostage before.
Might wanna tag some of that. I mean the Revenge thing.
I'd like a crossbow, honestly.
I'd only want a crossbow, or bow one the condition that Overkill ensures you can see the bolt or arrow sticking out of the enemy that gets hit by it. Nothing quite as satisfying as seeing somebody's dome skewered by a bolt or arrow. I figure with miniguns and RPGs, a crossbow probably would fit a particular niche. They could probably make it another projectile weapon that is naturally silent, and very powerful since it has only one shot before it must be reloaded. The tradeoff would probably be the constant reloading, and perhaps being a projectile rather than hitscan would mean you have to compensate for distance.
Currently doing an overkill cookoff, anyone willing to help add and join in.
The desync rules out projectile non-explosives, sometimes I fire a rocket and it takes five seconds to actually start flying or even bounce off a surface before it remembers what a contact fuse is
Ah, good point, that would be very bad. Scrap the projectile part then, hitscan is definitely fine.
I think it would work simply as a concealable sniper weapon, since the sniper rifles in-game are so bad for that
It's not really a sniper unless it can piece through walls, but it should definitely be a weapon you can conceal pretty well. I suppose it should definitely be a possible weapon choice for people running high-critical, or high-dodge builds that require low concealment.
Yo, can anyone point me to info on this VA stuff? I've been hearing that everyone's doing lines, filling missing lines, adding tons of new ones, that they intend to not only make it like the first Payday with much more interaction but also want to make it like, and even better than how it was in Payday 1 when the crew interacted with Bain and spoke up a lot more. I'm trying to find as much info as I can because this is something I've wanted really badly for a really long time, but aside from Viklund's twitter (which only names a few VAs as being in the studio unless I missed something) I haven't seen anything

General ETA is sometime in summer, possibly around the anniversary.

That's about as much as we have right now, aside from the footage of people recording.
side jobs had so much potential in making getting the mods you need so much easier, alleviating most of the frustration with cards but they completely fucked it up by allowing you to get generic sights and gadgets when selecting a specific weapon
aaaand it turns out they also don't do the 2 attachment limit that cards do.... I've gotten acog scope 3 times in a row now, I just want the god damn a3 rail for the aug I wish I didn't have to rag on this game all the time but this stuff is just so god damn stupid, who designs this? seriously
Yeah, it needs some sort of way to buy* items rather than just card/daily drops. *with ingame money
Just did the entire hoxton breakout using no keycards for a daily - "connection to host lost" as were drilling the last door. TPG confirmed worst ISP
Gonna go fucking nuts if I can't do this damn Car Shop Heist. I watched GmcB's video on how to speedrun it and no matter how hard I try the hack is slow as fuck and leaves me less than 30 seconds to bomb it to extraction. Stealthing it just isn't happening at all even if I ECM rush it once I'm on the second floor. The game further insulted me by having Wolf teleport inside the Key Room then calmly phase back through the door whilst looking at me.
don't bother with ECMs. Just rush in with your mask on, go upstairs, shoot the window into the manager's office, get the name and hack the computer. While the hacking process goes, plant the C4 and wait by the storage room door. Grab keys as soon as you can, get into a car, and drive off.
yeah but then you have to drive off on a bald-tire ice-road spinoutmobile [editline]24th March 2015[/editline] I just wish the camera would autocenter - if I touch my mouse at all then I'm totally thrown off.
Just slow down before you turn, it's not hard at all. Don't just floor it like you in Mario Kart
I was playing with a friend and I had a bit of a thought: there are a lot of Swedish guns in this game, so I actually got to thinking about what Swedish guns there aren't in the game and this old beauty came up: [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/06/Automatgev%C3%A4r_m-1942B_-_6,5x55mm_-_Arm%C3%A9museum.jpg[/t] This is a Ljungman AG M/42-B. These were Swedish military service rifles for the better part of twenty years and I think it'd actually be pretty interesting to have one of these in game, we don't have many battle rifles and even fewer of them are primarily semi-auto, and it's always cool to have some lesser known guns. It could also have mods based on its experimental version, the FM57 [t]http://www.gotavapen.se/gota/ak/ak4_5/fm57wbg.jpg[/t]
On the topic of the new heister lines, I had this idea that everybody should call Jacket a different name, those names being the names of the masks he wears. Ie, Dallas would call him Richard, Houston would call him Tony, Wolf would call him Ted, and so on. It might be kinda confusing gameplay-wise, but it would be an interesting nod to both the mask names and how Jacket looks like a completely average guy who could very well be named something plain like Ted or Richard.
