My bet is flamethrower gonna be another gimmick like minigun and rpg.
More interested in dragon's breath ammo and new GL.
Neither is the Minigun if you know how to use it, I should also mention that to my knowledge it counts as an LMG so panic goes through the roof with it.
I don't think on a PR level it was a good idea to release a paid for DLC right after this event but it looks cool so whatever.
Who's the guy next to wolf in the trailer?
I Wake up expecting update with fixes, I get another DLC announcement. Overkill every day.
there's really no advantage to the minigun over most lmgs and even a heavily modded car-4 other than being fucking awesome
The only reason i use LMGs over the minigun is the fact the minigun is still held like an assault rifle in third person. Not nearly as much of a bad-ass factor when you cant even hold it right. :v:

Hoxton
Who's the guy next to wolf in the trailer?
Hoxton's live action actor from the Breakout trailer?
He's missing the scar though. Huh
Oh, Maybe we'll get bipods in the grill pack too.
Unless something changed, the leaked Flamer and bipods had the same DLC filepath.

4.99! What a surprise!
So is there any way to force the van to spawn in the backroom of Nightclub? That's the only way I can see doing the dj achieve+daily the easiest.
These better go under the Tech tree. Be really disappointed if they don't

It might just be a case of Lion Game Lion being really messy when organizing their files, if you've checked out the files for The Bomb Heists you'll know what I mean.

Just do the heist in stealth and when the van arrives let the DJ follow you to whatever the escape van is.
So guys, Pixar released their updated Renderman tool yesterday with a non-commercial license.
I was fuckin' around with it during my lunch because I'm a huge Pixar nerd and I managed to make this.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Houston, in Pixar's Renderman.

There better be an achievement for doing Firestarter using only BBQ weapons.

We had it in the front. Most of it was in stealth (ECM the door open, pick the safe) but we blew our cover and ended up leaving during the first wave of police response. Because it was just the regular PD we were able to get past them pretty easily. The hardest part is getting the DJ to move - the pathing is dumb and sometimes he'll just stop walking.

It actually is perfect
We just had 9 days of free content, so having one paid DLC afterwards sounds reasonable enough to me
There are people on Steam commenting about "wow, another paid DLC? looks like Overkill are the real robbers huehuehue" despite how we literally just got a new heister, two new heists (and two repackaged single days), and a mod pack for $0.00

When people bitch about paid DLC, I immediately imagine:
a) A 13-15 kid who lives off his parents money.
b) A grown guy who lives in parents basement off his parents money.
What's the name of the song in the BBQ trailer?

Yeah believe me, I know how to do it- but it's infinitely easier when it's in the back. I can deal with it if there's no way to trigger it there, just wanted to make sure.

Not really for $0. Remember that people had to buy the packs.
I can sort of sympathize with people who are upset about another DLC. I would have liked to have seen the content we got with Spring Break had all the kinks ironed out before we moved onto yet another paid DLC. I'll be very disappointed if there are no fixes coming with the DLC update as well, because it seems like anytime a DLC occurs (which is fairly often) Overkill prioritizes those over all the other issues with the game, and it can result in bugs and anomalies not getting fixed for a while.. Meanwhile, anytime a paid DLC has an issue, they're fixing it like a day after they release it.
I haven't, what's up with them?
They're just a mess in general, there's like 3 copies of the LEO pistol (of varying states of completion, there's some early textures in there), an early Lion's Roar, and one of the masks being in Dragan's folder instead.
They also left some Maya files of the Lion's Roar/LEO in there somehow :v:
I hope the flamethrower is a proper liquid flamethrower (Rising Storm) and not a shitty limpdicked gas flamethrower (TF2) that just shoots little puffs of sort of hot fire.
Am I the only one hoping we get a gas mask as one of the masks for the pack?
I hope we get a gasmask.
the rpg is hardly a gimmick
unless you're a player that can't manage their primary weapon's ammo, the rpg is a great secondary
A mediocre secondary with no ammo pickup, retarded friendly fire damage and broken blast radius.
I hardly see any use for it except for oneshoting Commissar.
