Can't help but notice that PD2's models no-longer look shit when they're not rendered in diesel. Even jacket's normally lifeless feels face looks SO much better when rendered in source (this isn't even SFM): [t]http://i.imgur.com/yKkwZo2.jpg[/t] Makes me want official ports of every character model to source even more.
I wanna see every heister rendered in that thing now
Actually there are commercial licenses, but they don't come cheap :v:
Create a golden weapon pack dlc that turns enemies into jewelry to fund the licenses
Are there any police models usable for SFM? Or the gangsters. Can't find them on the workshop.
what the hell, stealthing hoxton revenge was actually fun sadly the no alarm achievement didn't even bother to unlock so that's kind of a bummer
SWEET! Now I have even more ways to horrifically kill civilians!
WOO ME AND TWO OTHER GUYS JUST DID BANK HEIST DEATHWISH NO SKILLS HITMAN PERK DECK best thing ive dun in day of pay 2
The DLC is consistently good and really cheap. Imagine if Ubisoft or EA was selling it, this stuff would be $15 each
And the award for most incorrect internet post ever goes to...
I just spent three hours restarting four stores normal over and over again on offline botless mode in the process of getting the Shotgun 101 achievement so I could finally unlock the M1014 Long barrel. Its that one that requires a mission with 101% accuracy rating on a shotgun (no other weapons allowed that mission) and 50 kills. It was three hours of nervous twitchy terror as didn't dare fire my AP ammo raven without complete concentration in fear of missing and plunging my accuracy down to 80% yet again. The pauses giving the cops ample time to berserker rush me and stab my face to death. I also essentially only had one knockdown also as bots or other players would no doubt either steal my weirdly specific kills or demand the mission be over. In the end I was happily shooting Civs who lined up with cops in order to keep the percentage above 100. I began starting retries with blasting the first guy I see just to have the police called quicker to save time. I tied up people just so I could get cops to stop for a second to untie them so I could shoot them both through each other. Indeed I think along the way I may have gone slightly mad. And now that it's all over was it worth it? Well I got what I wanted - but what what cost? Perhaps my soul.

Melee doesn't affect your accuracy, but you still get the kills for the achievement that way. Googling things ahead of time would've probably saved you your sanity.
If we're not getting a gasmask that looks similar to wolf beeef mask from the first game in this new dlc [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/payday/images/c/cf/Beeef_Wolf.png/revision/latest?cb=20130111172907[/t] I'm not buying it then Not even interested into new launcher and flamethrower Gl40/m79 is love, gl40/m79 is lyfe
Meh, the dlcs may bring us odd prices but atleast the recent ones have given us interesting stuff. Just what I believe.

Heck at first I didn't understand what the achievement wanted at all. The steam discussion I looked at definitely said that melee'ing would mess it up - though admitedlly perhaps I should have looked further as other posts say differentlly. Oh well.
How fire will work on this new DLC? You know... When you drop a molotov, how the fire will spread, the game is almost all instance and the idea of molotov looks a little scary
I've seen a few people mentioning recent changes to ammo pickups, something that made the GL40 easier to use because it guaranteed +1 ammo every pickup, anyone care to shed some more light on this? I've been struggling to find anything about it. The guess I've made is that if one weapon is full or has no ammo pickups it increases ammo pickup on the other weapon
If you want a technical explanation, they recently changed ammo pickups so that if you don't get any ammo from a pickup, you won't pick up the ammo. This was to fix the bug where if you used saw ammo but your ammo for your other weapon was full, it would eat the ammo pickup to replenish the saw. The saw can't get ammo so this wasted ammo. In the game code, each weapon has a range for ammo pickup rates. For some of these, such as the GL40, Thanatos, or HE weapons, the ranges can be below .5. If it's below .5, it rounds down to 0, so you pick up the ammo but get nothing in return. With this change, it will now do a check; if the ammo pickup for one of these weapons is below .5, and it rounds down to 0, it sees that you got no ammo so it doesn't pick up the ammo drop. However, there's no cooldown. It will perform this check every frame until it finally does give you ammo. Of course, if you have another weapon that can always get ammo regardless (like an assault rifle,) it sees that you got ammo so it won't always give you the drop for the other weapon. This is why you need to have a weapon that can't pick up ammo, like a minigun, RPG, saw, or otherwise something with full ammo, to take advantage of this system.
" Featuring a loaded menu of fresh treats – fiery weapons, mouth-filling melee, and a heaping side of new ordnance. And what would a party be without cool masks, materials and patterns? We got them too!" So is it correct to assume a spatula or a weenie roasting stick as melee weapons?
When I saw that I figured we are just gonna slap officers with a raw hotdog.
I hope the flamethrower is a proper liquid flamethrower (Rising Storm) and not a shitty limpdicked gas flamethrower (TF2) that just shoots little puffs of sort of hot fire.
why not a flame thrower for both? also I don't get why people complain about the price of the dlc just get it during a steam sale
Well, I just got the most stupid host I've ever met. He was opposing dodge for some reason, and got me into custody by repeatdly shooting RPG at me, to prove that "dodge is not working". And after that he kicked me. The worst thing - he was 9-77.
who do you know who runs a dodge build that still manages to carry an rpg as a secondary weapon?
I'm going to do this now and I'll tell you how it goes.
So I went to do the daily job. As I didn't want to spend too much time on it, I just picked normal Nightclub and went for stealth. First attempts, there was always the civilian that called the police. Next ones, I tried a grenade in the opposite wall of the dj, to make it easier. RNG wanted to spawn some in the upper floor, so they called the cops. I eventually got fed up and, on next run, I picked my highest Threat weapons and slammed some ECMs. I was lucky and nobody was behind doors! And everyone got down, awesome!! Then I thought. I've had too many times a smartass get up when I was busy and call the police, fucking up the entire plan again. So I made sure that didn't happen. At all. [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/532888367364144064/B1A35D4215E7F75679813CF15B1F0D78B4354BB2/[/t] After that, everything went smoothly and I got the driver in the back of the club, so I had to pass the DJ through the slaughter I made. That probably traumatized the guy, I thought, so after I got the achievement (you don't have to escape with him, just get him close to the van) I also helped him. [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/532888367364144300/D10A60D76600FB58A7AAC9A8F569D0B0D70AF0C4/[/t] I mean, it's just another way of doing things.
I didn't find that to be a difficult challenge at all. Used control freak, got it first try. [editline]24th March 2015[/editline] Same for the new Car Shop heist in 4 minutes achievement. Did that on my first try, solo on normal. I got the correct computer in the first thirty seconds, and then rushed to do the C4. I even fucked up driving the car at the end, I ran into a wall, and I still had enough time. The trick is to hug the left lane and not have a lead foot like a fool.
who do you know who runs a dodge build that still manages to carry an rpg as a secondary weapon?
I run dodgebuilds with LMG's most of the time, I packed the RPG as a secondary for a while just because of how stupid it got
I'm going to do this now and I'll tell you how it goes.
Taser says hi
Joined a DW cook off, everything was going smoothly (admittedly way to smooth) then when we get to the car the host rains money bags from the sky and throws like 100+ bags of coke into the car. What a waste of time. Edit: not sure how this is dumb in the slightest. I was playing for the achievement, wasted 15 minutes because the host was cheating all along, I wouldn't have gotten the achieve or had the mission count towards my deathwish counter, so why bother and why the fuck would I want dirty money?
Damn I feel happy. Completed Hotline Miami, FS Pro and Election Day Pro and a few other heists that I somehow forgot to solo stealth on DW. They were all on pubs, too. Tried to do Hoxout the same day with Martinz and Jeff, but we got fucking destroyed :v:
I don't understand how anyone can solo stealth Shadow Raid. I'm only on hard and there's 3 different guards on 3 different patrols that can see me from a mile away. One time when I tried to get to the tugboat area, there wasn't any ladder down. I'm probably missing some things here, but goddamn is it frustrating.

It just requires you to go even slower than with a crew. But yeah if that ladder doesn't spawn it gets kinda hard if you want the tug. I just stopped using that months ago before I stopped playing regularly. The yard drop off is a bit easier really.
