Going at the progress of one Infamy a day I managed to reach inf-25 today, the level speed difference is crazy with all the boosts going on compared to back then. [t]http://i.imgur.com/4JEjpcG.png[/t]
How do I unlock Deathwish difficulty, just reach Infamy?
How do I unlock Deathwish difficulty, just reach Infamy?
Level up.
How do I unlock Deathwish difficulty, just reach Infamy?
you need to be level 80 to play heists in deathwish (hosting them, you still can join any dw game/lobby as low level) infamy is not needed
I don't understand how anyone can solo stealth Shadow Raid. I'm only on hard and there's 3 different guards on 3 different patrols that can see me from a mile away. One time when I tried to get to the tugboat area, there wasn't any ladder down. I'm probably missing some things here, but goddamn is it frustrating.
Ah, with my love and knowledge of Shadow Raid, allow me to assist you: There are two ways down from the balcony that I use. Keep in mind, they're both one-way, so only use them if you want to get out of there quick, or you're finished with the second floor. The first is on the opposite end of the balcony: [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/28485550469636689/C089C8F39BBEF303DC6908F3DB22C4708DC4467C/[/t] [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/28485550469636967/05410B393E6EA66A6DA639FF8B8C6349D48F7B18/[/t] Basically, you jump on those large air conditioner units, and at the very end on the last one, you have perfect clearance to simply land on the barbwire fence directly below you. You can see the fence on the second image. If you're using the boat zipline, I don't recommend using this one, because if the guard near the door that leads to the basement is standing in the doorway, it is a little difficult to run past him without beeing seen, I recommend using the next one over this one if your intention is ferrying bags to the zipline. You can always look down where the ladder usually is and determine if he's in the doorway, because the guard will either spawn next to the ladder spawn, or in the doorway, it's either one or the other. The second way down is actually quite close to where the ladder can spawn, you just have to jump on the adjacent railing and look down, when you look down, you'll see this platform: [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/28485550469637144/D03EA1195AC94CB823FB28018D949043FA5704CA/[/t] Shown with a bag, this is also a perfect spot to throw your loot because unlike the balcony, guards have basically no chance of spotting it, unless you accidentally throw out a bag out a little too far. Getting down using this little platform is easy, because all you have to do is jump on the railing, and land on the area below you, just try not to slip and miss it completely. After that, you can simply fall down to ground level and ferry your loot to the boat zipline. The only thing this route costs is a little bit of health, as the platform distance from the ground causes a bit of fall damage, but it's a fair toll. If you're throwing bags near this spot, try to keep it around that area, as there can be a camera that can spawn on the opposite end of the platform not shown here. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
So the Joceline O/U is fun to use as an Elephant gun. With AP Slugs and Shotgun Impact you hit like 200 Damage. Super low ammo count, but Fully Loaded and the Ammo pickup change help.
How exactly did you do that?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ANj1MYf.jpg[/t] Back to back Hoxouts and Hotline Miami's for 20 days straight.
Back to back Hoxouts and Hotline Miami's for 20 days straight.
Throw in a Shadow Raid DW ECM rush every so often for that +5% exp bonus as well if you've got a ghost build.
To add to Notanything's post, IMO the easiest approach is to enter the building via the roof. Jump over from the abandoned building, kill up to two guards on the roof (since they'll go down into the building if you don't), then proceed downstairs to the camera room. Kill the operator, and you've got a huge safe space to yourself & a pager left for the guard who can spawn by the building exit. Then it's just a matter of cleaning out the storage rooms while avoiding the 2-3 other guards (who will stop moving if you don't open the balcony-- technically an exploit, note), and maybe grabbing some stuff from the main warehouse depending on how much that yields you. This all gets a bit more complicated if the helicopter brings extra guards instead of an artifact, but in my experience (probably more limited than some of the people here) you can usually make up for them by being more careful. The body bag case is also quite useful on this map.
Something silly I was thinking of, the point of the car shop heist was to steal the Falcoginis without getting a police response, what if OVK updated the Diamond Store heist to let us steal the two Falcoginis in the dealership next door if the job is done silent?
You know what I'd like to see? A survival based heist with no difficulty on it, instead the difficulty and pay out increases the longer you stay/the more cops you kill, starting with normal cops and ending with DW forces and Skulldozers.
A new tier to specials would be fun. Like how dozers come in three flavors, and shields come in two. Beefier cloakers and tazers would fun. Even if it was mostly visual.

I think the taser from PD:TH was a bit more serious, thicker heavy SWAT armor, the distinctive markings were based on the bands on non lethal weapons, far less anime style dialogue. Not sure if his look would go well with the new voiceovers. Although I do very much like the idea of some more visual distinctions for higher difficulties.
Joined a DW cook off, everything was going smoothly (admittedly way to smooth) then when we get to the car the host rains money bags from the sky and throws like 100+ bags of coke into the car. What a waste of time.
Does the CHEATER tag not work reliably or something?
Does the CHEATER tag not work reliably or something?
It probably didn't apply until then, it's extremely unreliable.
Does the CHEATER tag not work reliably or something?
So, I messed around with Pirate Perfection for one whole heist before uninstalling it. I was playing a Bomb Forest with my friends. Zadrave informed me that flying around spraying infinite explosive ammunition from my minigun didn't ping the tag, but deploying 5 medkits, 2 ammo bags, and 14 sentry guns did. But only after I placed the sentry.
I know Rule of Cool and all that, but, I just realized that Hoxton Revenge is completely unnecessary. With all those fucking windows, they could have just hired Ilija and had it done the second the rat walks in front of a window :v:
Does the CHEATER tag not work reliably or something?
As far as I know, the only things guaranteed to give you a cheater tag are wearing a mask you shouldn't be able to (IE: Wearing the Hard Hat without having the achievement for it unlocked), hosting a lobby for a level you don't own the DLC for and creating more deployables than you can normally.
Also "using an invalid weapon or mod" will trigger the tag, but it has a tendency of generating false positives.
Right, that too. Basically using anything that comes from a DLC that you don't own.
Did Hoxvenge's achievements get fixed?
I'd love to see a polished up PTH taser as a variant.
I kinda miss PD:TH cops in general, I liked how they were wearing what looked like a more protective version of the ICTV, and how even at a higher level they were still decently threatening. The power creep in Payday 2 is strong though, and even Tan FBI are only an average threat. I kinda wish they reused this model for the GenSec Elites, even though I never see those anyway because they're only in Campwish. In general I wish they did more with the variety they have available, I never get to see the lower level units because I play Overkill, and never see GenSWAT because Deathwish is unfun meta-weapons vs health-tank spam gamemode with the exception of Shadow Raid Stealth.
the payday the heist cops were cool but i feel like they were made to suit a different artstyle, looked slightly more "real" whereas payday 2 has a sort of cartoony-realism thing going on with each unit looking unique and distinct from the other without being overly complicated
-words-
That's really useful, actually. I suppose the best thing to ask is, if I'm only really aiming to do hard solo, do I need the bodybag carry? Or are ECMs useful in some capacity? Because I looked everywhere for a "use ECMS here" symbol but found nothing.
-more words-
I always avoided killing the guards, so I probably should follow your advice. I read a guide that basically said that looking at the helicopter will make it spawn an artifact instead.

It's useful to have bodybags on Shadow Raid, but it's not entirely necessary, though you'll find it very convenient to have bodybags in case you make a mistake. ECM jammers on Shadow Raid as far as I know are only useful for people who ECM rush the heist (I don't ECM rush, so this doesn't apply to me), and the usual camera-disable, and alarm-delay functionality. There aren't any doors or something that require it.

You need to be up there and waiting before the helicopter even spawns in if I remember. It's not a massive challenge to get up there quickly, it can be a pain in the ass if a guard walks around it though.
Does the CHEATER tag not work reliably or something?
If Overkill are going to support this game for two more years they should get the basic features up to date. I don't know what they were thinking creating a multiplayer game without any form of anti-cheat.
