I think Overkill should calm down with the new characters items being references to where do they come from.
"The new character is Irish, let's put clovers on her mask. Let's put some too on her gun, along with the Ireland flag and call it "queen's wrath". We'll give her a fucking Shillelagh as melee weapon (with clovers on it too, you bet). Oh and let's name her Clover."
"This new one is Scottish. We'll give her a whiskey bottle and slap the Scottish flag on her mask."
What next ? A French heister using a baguette as a melee weapon ?

Can I get some input on what the best melee weapon actually is? I'm going to assume it's either the trench knife, the nova shank, or the psycho knife. Likely the trench knife for those that own the historical pack, but probably the nova shank for those that don't. The psycho's knife seems like a close competitor because it can stab quickly too, but it has 2 less concealment than the others. I'm not sure if the higher knockdown stat will actually have any noticeable difference though.

Though on reflection, I guess it makes sense, since he's the one geographically who it’s easiest to explain knowing an Irishwoman and a scot.
But man, Hoxton is really good at convincing the team to add new heisters. I wonder if they're asking him when the female welsh criminal that wants on the team is gonna turn up. You know - to complete the UK compilation he seems to have going.

its not really the fact that hes "good" at doing it, its just ovk appealing to the crazy amount of hoxton fans in the payday 2 community to justify their presence in the crew

Admittedly Hoxtons storyline seems to be the closest thing the game has to a overarching plotline right now. He's almost the main charecter of it at this point. :P

If you wanna go next level, try ECM rush Shadow Raid DW. Our crew routinely does it in under 2:30. Some crews who are better than us can do it in less than 2:00.

I just got the game. It's pretty neat (although the AI and physics are a bit wonky at times).
Is stealth something viable in the lower levels? Or does it require crazy planning. At the moment it's just guns blazing every single time.
Should I focus on buying guns/modifications or should I level. Should I take several skill trees or just a single one?

Dragan does have an out of place check pattern slapped onto his mask from the Croatian flag though. Even worse is that it's incorrect, it has four columns instead of the flag's five.
