There was also some controversy where he got some promotional items or something, but he wasn't able to send all of them, and it was like he just stopped caring to try.

alternatively have 1 guy on phone 1 guy with a saw and control freak revving 24/7 to keep all civs down constantly and the other 2 to kill genseec/cops as they come

What's so bad about GeneralMcBadass exactly? He's the only decently sized Payday channel I know of and he seems like a pretty entertaining guy, I can't stand the clan shit like T$E though.
I finally finished my FugiTech build. It gets about 35 dodge while standing and around 85 armor. It pretty much sucks from a serious stand point because it relies on both Sneaky Bastard aced and Bulletproof aced, meaning I miss out on a lot of the standard low-tier skills like cable guy, but I'll be darned if it isn't super fun to use.
I could probably make it way better with a well-built CAR-4 or something, but I'm pretty much dead set on using the gl40. Such a versatile weapon.

I watched a few videos just now of GeneralMcBadass, he seems completely fine. I only really like his in depth look of weapons though, everything else I'm too lazy to watch because I could do it myself.
I think it's just people not liking things that the majority likes.

The only good thing I'm noticing about enemy turret is that it visibly tracks you, and you can see the laser tracking you. You can also dodge the shots if you keep moving.
Now, if only fucking snipers functioned like that. I don't know why exactly Overkill removed the visible tracking of sniper lasers. Now they just fucking shoot you virtually instantaneously with precision accuracy. Can we get back the laser tracking prior to firing please?

Stealthing Nightclub a few times really showed me how many times I've played it loud. Usually I get so unlucky (hit a guard on the way in, all entrances blocked by guards, guard finding body, etc), that now with a fughost build I'm getting stealthy every time. The biggest problem is when newer players enter my game, not knowing it can be stealthed, and start going about it loud. I had just opened the safe with the money in it when a guy spawned on me and shot up the glass, causing everyone to scream and things to go badly. Thankfully with my 85 damage car4 and Rogue deck I can hold my own, but it's still rather annoying.
Thankfully I ended my sessions today by overkilling jewerly store for the hell of it, and I was able to stealth it alongside some lower levels that had spawned in halfway through the bag carryout. Definitely glad I got back into the game.

4 is best and quickest, but I think you could get by with just 3 or maybe even 2 if you're really good. You might wind up without a stealth bonus, though, using that extra minute after alarm to get the rest of the stuff out.

This videos and the DLC/weapons/perk decks reviews are really good, gives some better vision of how it's in-game.
So, heads up, I think that there's a bug with kick messages.
I switched to my level 1 profile and joined proverkill games as Bonnie to test this, and all the times I got booted from the game it told me "Connection to host lost."
so all those connection losses you're getting at round end by coincidence might just be the dick hosts kicking you
this could just be me, but considering the amount of complaints about connection loss that might be the reason.
Considered buying DLC during the weekend due to low price but forgot it was only on the weekend. Looked today and I'm just wondering how they hell they can charge that much in full?
There are things that are rubbing me the wrong way in the game at the moment but it's all mostly due to not spending money efficiently. DLC pricing and what you get for it on the other hand just seems outrageous.
Trying to play the game with some people internationally. Stealth is misery. The desync is nightmarish. Fucking netcode.
My favorite is to """"stealth"""" Bank by using ECMs and Rocket Launchers to kill everyone before they can even do anything.

He comes across as a bit egotistical, but it's not entirely unjustified, between his expertise and Overkill's incompetence he probably understands this game better than the developers do.

I've noticed quite a few lost connections that looked suspiciously like host kicks too, I don't think it's just you.

I'm going to be honest, the attitude of some of the more veteran players can be a lot shittier. I especially dislike people that seem to think every person that isn't infamous is a blabbering idiot and kicks them just because they're low. It makes sense sometimes, like on DW where you need to be pretty high level to compete, but other times it's on easier heists where it's not a huge deal. I feel like nobody gives them the light of day sometimes, new guys can be good too!
I couldn't imagine starting out in Payday without another friend helping to boost me anymore
