Looks like Hoxton day 1 will finally make you earn that payout.
I can't wait to be the one one not using a double barrel and have to get people out of tasers and cloakers because of the awful reload!
Can somebody explain me the magical regen me and my crew gets when I cable tie/move the hostage?
Still cannot understand how exactly Hostage Situation card works.
I don't know the exact mechanism, but it deals with Crew Chief. I think if you move a hostage it temporarily counts as a new hostage, so it keeps adding and removing the hostage, so your health keeps going up and up as the total health percentage changes back and forth but it never removes the health you gain.

-Silent drill but loud weapons and armor, waste of 8 points.
-No deployable specialty chosen aside from c4 (seriously at least grab 2 ammo bags). C4 is only useful in a very select few heists and you're not even using shaped charges which means it's not useful at all.
-Control freak aced is a much better use of points than cable guy aced, those special assets can be very useful
-1 point in fugitive. why?
-You take dead presidents and chamaleon but not cleaner, again why?
-martial arts aced, you will rarely get meleed if you're shooting enemies so why bother. Waste of 4 points imo
Honestly I can't see this build being useful anywhere.

The reload on the O/U isn't that bad. Pair it with the faster reload speed from Enforcer and there isn't exactly much to worry about, it feels like it takes just over a second to reload. As for Tasers and Cloakers, that's where an SMG or pistol comes in handy. I prefer Jackets Piece for spraydowns.

I know but if I see more than one on death wish I get mad, it's very unreliable compared to the rifles.
quick turret report: shot at it with an HE round and crashed

classic overkill

I crashed attacking the damn thing with a judge. I was also doing no damage. How the fuck do you damage it?
If you use ecm feedback on the turret he will shoot the cops.
yep i'm pretty sure it just straight up crashes if you shoot at it with he rounds
oh yeah boy, the damage of the mosconi is the same than the joceline now
one shots all around
the mosc reloads faster doesn't it?
Even then Joce is probably better because of the ammo pouch stock
not really a great buff the mosconi, still just seems like a weaker alternative to the joceline
also if thats true about the turret then im gonna be real upset if there isnt a quickfix soon
Yeah, this shit is broken. I still haven't figured out how to do damage to the fucking thing, and I crashed again after shooting it with a sniper rifle this time.
I guess we called it appropriately, it would be broken.
And, please, lower the damage of those damn HRT units already. I got unlucky and they kept spawning, and doing ludicrous damage.

The Mosconi and Jaceline are pretty evenly tied in stats that they are pretty much the same gun from what I've seen. I mean the mosconi reloads consistently too whereas to my knowledge the Jaceline reloads slower with two shells.
Why does it take forever for it to unpack my payday 2 update download? :v
Why does it take forever for it to unpack my payday 2 update download? :v
Because the game uses an older style of updating and has to edit archives and all kinds of funky bunky stuff. Its basically how the game is designed.
On the subject of updating, is that also why when I update my game my PC just melts?
I fixed it.
It's still pretty bad but I'll list the main reasons why.
#1 shotgun cqb aced, you will never need that increased steel sight speed. Keep it basic
#2 hard boiled, if you steel sight the accuracy already increases and with the joceline having no laser sight you will never be hip firing this thing with AP slugs, you could take sharpshooter in the technician tree for 1 point which does the same exact thing except across the board and not just hip fire.
#3 tough guy aced is probably the worst place to put points, hell even tough guy isn't even worth it unless you're using a suit
Just removing those points leaves you with 18 points to throw elsewhere.
Here's how I edited it. http://pd2skills.com/#/v3/mhjEGDa:eqRokLMHIEFCDa:tJeGDa:ghEgCa:pA8::w71-1-7:s52-23-10-18-16-32:a7
It leaves you with 7 points to throw elsewhere.

Ah, thanks
On the subject of updating, is that also why when I update my game my PC just melts?
Possibly yes, because it does a lot of hard-drive unpacking and sometimes this can cause stuttering.
Ah, thanks
You are welcome
Trying to find an easy way to kill the damn things. Thought maybe plowing the sensor with a sniper rifle would work. It did not. Thought maybe loading them with C4 would work, but the truck itself isn't a hit box. And they're behind a map barrier on Hoxout.
I'm thinking the idea is not to kill it, but to distract it. How easy is it to get its attention? Can you get one player laying down suppressive fire while everyone else does the objective?
They need to make sentires more useful.
Why not make it so you can pick them up and place them elsewhere?

From my limited testing this seems to work, it will focus on one player it seems, and can overheat (laser turns yellow). Being shot didn't seem to bother it, so it would focus on a downed bot while I kept shooting it
Yeah, sorry Overkill, this is a really dumb new unit. All you added was a bullet sponge unit (not really a surprise given how they made Death Wish), with the only effective ways to destroy it being the DLC stuff. I don't know what your angle was, but it's really boring trying to take down, and 50,000 health for a damn sentry is ridiculous. What is the player interaction you were aiming for with the damn thing? Avoidance? Taking it down? It take way too many bullets to take it down, and although the ECM thing is clever, I don't really think that's a going to increase the value of the ECM. It's also kind of hard to avoid the damn thing when you give it clear line-of-sight of loot-drop-points, and it can fire from a pretty considerable distance away.
The way you try to balance this game is really odd sometimes.
"IMPORTANT: The turret has a weak point under its front armor. Break the front armor, and shoot where the turret's laser emerges for absolutely massive damage- something like six shots from a 40-damage weapon kills it."

this makes the swat turret not so insanely fucking dumb
however i cant believe it took this long for anyone to work it out lmao

Unloaded into it. Did nothing.
