Not sure if "That Guy" or someone being very meta, in which case they'll beg GM to use the same setting for the next game, and put together an entire army of bastards from his previous character.
It's only That Guy if he's creepy about it. "I'm doing it to bone babes" is totally a valid excuse to go out adventuring.

Holy shit what did Roll20 do to their website.
Holy shit what did Roll20 do to their website.
You've played over 2000 hours in games using Roll20. Have you considered going out and having a life?
Does anyone have any D&D, shadowrun, or pathfinder games going on? Really looking to join one.

Our plan actually is to do a campaign taking place about 20-25 years later as a bunch of his bastard children.
I don't get the shadowrun sheet, how am i supposed to switch between shooting modes if I select "BF/SS/FA" I also don't see an option for just fully automatic.
Does anyone have any D&D, shadowrun, or pathfinder games going on? Seriously, brother, if you're going to pull that crap for 2 years ongoing, with 3 different GMs including me, what makes you think you're going to change with the 4th GM?
I absolutely recommend to invite aldawolf to your campaings, dude's a great and inspired roleplayer, I mean he's so good at playing he can multitask with ease, leaving midsession to go play videogames.
He actually declined to show up to the final session, even though 1 hour late, of previously mentioned d&d to go play DotA. He's had a streak of not showing up to sessions randomnly because he "doesn't feel like it" and just going to play other video games instead. He's been in 3 campaigns now, and every time he's done the same thing. He's a guy that has absolutely no motivation to participate in campaigns or even show appreciation for other people's effort, and probably thinks we're the ones at fault here.
that field is just for your benefit to remember it, the modifiers you type in yourself
Alright dumb question, but what are the benefits for each mode? The Players handbook is such a clusterfuck.
Okay, I thought Sprite's campaign was pretty ass so that's why I didn't participate in it, I wasn't able to make the last D&D session because I was sleeping, otherwise I was pretty consistent in showing up to that. And I don't like the people in the Shadowrun campaign so I don't want to participate in it anymore. Stop with this bullshit trying to ruin my image in this thread for the sake of your petty drama lol. The "I don't feel like it" is because I get awful headaches sometimes and it's hard for me to enjoy a role play when I get a really bad headache. Can you guys just stop with this stupid shit?

Just leave the campaing or be direct about your issues (aka talk it with the players and the GM) if you don't want people to call you out of your shit then stop it. Edit: also falling asleep is not a good excuse, if you join a campaing you gotta commit and be responsible about showing up, I have turned down dates, appointments and other shit to play, and when I put those over the campaing I made sure to tell the gm with 3 to 7 days of anticipation.

Can you guys just stop with this stupid shit?
As someone who is a complete outsider to this situation, you're still the dickhead in all of these scenarios. You made the commitment to tell others you would be there, and you, seemingly without explanation, did not fulfill this commitment. If you had brought to light your grievances, or told people beforehand that you could not make it, then it would be a different story. Saying "I feel ill guys, I can't make it tonight" is a million miles away from the phrase "I don't feel like it". You're in the wrong here. Be an adult and make the effort to make others want to play with you. They're not at your beck and call. To quote an old phrase: "If you smell shit everywhere you go, it's time to look under your own shoe."

I did try and explain why I don't feel well though, I've explained it to you guys a lot of times.
woah this thread is suddenly going fast [editline]21st July 2015[/editline] goddamnit you killed my automerge

You were about an hour late to D&D, and that was a 4 hour session. You could have easily went to attend the next 3 hours, but you didn't.
And I don't like the people in the Shadowrun campaign so I don't want to participate in it anymore
I'd appreciate some communication? Anything? Even a "Yeah, I don't think I can fit in this campaign" would help? You just left without saying anything, when I look at you 20 minutes later and you're in a video game. Like, how do you think that makes me feel? You're irresponsible and you're a repeated problem player, and I don't think any GM should have the duty of putting up with you.

To get us back on on track, anyone ever use the Hero Forge model builder? I've been messing around with it and have a few models I like the look of:

Well, to brighten up the mood. I'm also looking for a campaign. I'm a somewhat new player, but I'll definitely put in the time.
I'm about to head off to Japan for a year abroad, which means I'll be losing my group here in a few months. It would be cool to join into a game with some FP people. Anyone gonna have any openings in October that would be cool working with such a radical time difference? I've never used Roll20 before, but I would be more than willing to learn how. I was wondering on the quality of the sturdy plastic (or whatever it's called.)
Alright dumb question, but what are the benefits for each mode? The Players handbook is such a clusterfuck.
you'll wanna look at the firearms section in the combat chapter, I don't remember the specifics I believe it's; short burst / semi auto burst - 3 bullets, -2 modifier to enemy dodge long burst / short full auto - 6 bullets, -5 modifier to enemy dodge full auto - 9 bullets, -8 to dodge and suppression which is different
Holy shit what did Roll20 do to their website.
What the actual fuck, it looks atrocious now. Who actually thought this was a good idea? fuck I can't even get the sign in drop-down to stay in one place, it zoops away when I release the mouse button

Who actually thought this was a good idea? fuck I can't even get the sign in drop-down to stay in one place, it zoops away when I release the mouse button
Apparently the change was done with the help of "design consultants" and was never actually discussed with their consumers. The dev who was defending this choice used a lot of buzzwords, mostly "integrated features" and said the main point of the change was encouraging people to pay for a subscription, especially new users. When people pointed out this was a sleazy idea and is horribly unintuitive, they pulled a Paizo, locked the thread, and said there's no point in challenging the changes because "this is the site now."
