ITT: People trying to legitimately RP on a furry sex chatroom.
The thing that shocked me the most about it all was I went in expecting to be grossed out by the smut, but the thing that turned me off the most was how dull, clique and nepotic it was.
Seriously the subculture was toxic as fuck.
I think I just spent the better part of my day today statting out an Evangelion for the Mekton system. It's literal beauty, but I believe the price tag on it will keep me from ever fulfilling my dreams to become literally Shinji in Dwarfy's game.
Alas, but a man can dream.
Who wants to be Shinji?
Who wants to be Shinji?
Who doesn't want to play as the most useless character that somehow manages to do things anyways? I mean, he's obviously the best character, seeing as he [sp]was involved in turning the world into a pile of blood, corpses, and orange goo. Who doesn't want that?[/sp]
He's obviously the most metal person there is, no doubts about it.
[editline]16th January 2015[/editline]
And in other news Dwarfy has commandeered my EVA for his own boss list. RIP hopes and dreams. :suicide:
[editline]16th January 2015[/editline]
And now he's having me make another boss, I'm not even getting payed for this. I demand compensation.
The magic system sounds silly as shit.
Mages work just like sorcerers, except they still use a spellbook, but now their spellbook can only contain a limited number of spells decided by their level, and they can only carry one spellbook because magic I guess.
I was kind of looking for some testimonies on the Kingdom aspect of the game. Yknow, its entire fucking selling point.

are you saying magic is not the selling point of every game ever?
i dont understand

Man I warned you he'd do that. I told you man. I told you about the Dwarfy bro.
At least when you make youma and familiars for Burst you know right where they're going. It's not like you can play as one of them. You need to stop showing him all the good stuff because he doesn't care about the little man.
I guess one more boss on his giant robot roster just means I'll have to score another 50+ critchain. You're pushin' my limits here bro.

Sorry m8; it's unlikely that I'll ever get to enjoy something of my own design that costs more than 300 cash monies anyways.

seems everyone wants to go neo-spartan in my group now
though I think one may stick to their roll of prodigy and try to pass themselves off as spart or something. RP!

rocket launchers tho
Why not just cut out the middleman and throw a teammate /with/ a rocket launcher out the back?

Booo, after setting everything up one of my friends got held up with some fundraiser event and we had to cancel our D&D session.
Speaking of D&D session, the adventure I'm using is "Lost Mines of Phandelver" which is apparently for a group of four players, while we only have two, would it be wise to cut out a couple of enemies or maybe weaken some?
What is this Shinji/Evangelion universe talk?
On obviously non-unexpectedly related terms, do you folk have any advice for attempting to find a group, as a sixteen-year-old? I've been wanting to play some DnD recently, and hopefully even look into these other dice-based games set in various interesting universes that smell of freedom and intriguing story.
I have a close group of friends that I play with when we can, but recently 'when we can' has been scarce, and plus when we do play usually between half the group to everybody is blown, so we really get into the roleplaying/bullshitting aspect to an extreme extent and get little done as far as the story and advancing our characters and the plot goes.

Uhh.. your party is going to die unless you A) started them out at a higher level AND B) lowered the amount of enemies. Even the VERY FIRST AMBUSH will wipe them out easily.

When in doubt, 42 point buy and Gestalt is the answer.
[sp]Don't do this unless you want to cry[/sp]

Online is probably your best bet, D&D clubs at school aren't usually the most fun. In college youll have tons of opportunities to play TTRPGs.

You should have each player control two characters instead

Everything is good in a car chase if you have enough dice.
The only correct answer in a car chase is silly string
actually that's just the only correct answer
webbers OP
You underestimate the power of flashpaks.
probably a bit much for beginners
It's probably fine if you stick to the simplest archetypes. Champion, Life Domain, Evocation School and Thief.
