Yeah and it used to be that elves were superior to every other race but that didn't stop them from normalising them. Just because the one edition you like used to be a certain way doesn't mean that certain way has to be the default and everything which deviates from it is selling out or sabotaging their artistic integrity.
Also, they still have inborn magical abilities.

TBH that was stupid. Making every fantastic race exactly equal to humans makes them completely un-fantastic, but that's neither here nor there.

So what are the basic assumptions about dark elves? For me they are defined more by their culture than their stats. Balancing them to be more in line with the other races doesn't diminish that. They still have their inborn magic, their enhanced darkvision and their sunlight sensitivity. Wether or not they get a +2 to int doesn't significantly affect the picture I have of them.

I GMed Lost Mine of Phandelver last Night and it was good but a little harsh, I had to fluff some dice rolls and reduce the number of enemies so my players would survive. They were only a party of 3, so I may give them a companion when they get to Phandelver to help them out.

I'd join but I'm not behind the idea of Maid RPG. Probably because my tolerance for non-serious, quirky characters came to an end about three Pathfinder games ago with my local group.
