All of the parts of the plan that weren't my idea ran into problems. We had to use grenades since for some reason the rest of the team wasn't ok with me cooking up a fertiliser bomb in their bathroom?
So in Maid RPG I rolled really well to set the tables, then one of the other Maids fucked up their roll to sweep the floors and so moved around some cutlery to make it look like they'd set the tables. The Master complimented her and gave her a pat on the head and 1d6 favor points for my fucking work My revenge plan was pretty well thought out but it did accidently cause the death of one of our master's guards (and potentially several other deaths) as well as forcing the other maid to admit she's an alien but if that bitch thinks she can take credit for my work she's got another thing coming.

When I play Maid RPG I play to win
Can I just remind everyone that Iron Gods is the best Adventure Path of them all, not because of cybernetics and laser guns or AIs that grant magic powers to their followers, but because an entire module is called Valley of the Brain Collectors? What's even cooler: the brain collectors in question (spoilers for those who are playing the AP) are part of an intergalactic alien collective called[sp]the Dominion of the Black.[/sp] People think they worship the Outer Gods/Great Old Ones, just because both happen to reside in the Dark Tapestry (interstellar space). Nooooooo. This is represented in the module by[sp]mi-go (yes, THOSE mi-go) coming to Golarion and wrecking the Dominion's day. Alien on alien action.[/sp] Neither are your friends. [sp]Also the Dominion has "fleshfarms", nation-sized things that they use for building materials for new servant species, hanging slave crèches, and semi-living spacefaring vessels. Also they worship black holes by throwing both thousands of slaves and tens of thousands of themselves into the gravity wells of black holes. This is by itself fucking creepy because they have large enough numbers to sustain the senseless extermination of enormous numbers.[/sp] In a nutshell: there is a collective of beings out there that would fit in just fine in the Warhammer 40k universe, and the only people of Golarion who know anything about them are insane people, the rare reclusive scholar, or high level PCs. Fuck demons and dragons and shit, that's scary as hell.
this sounds fuckin' awesome are the rest of the mechanics actually good? I always wanted to play/run a solid low fantasy game, Witcher style
Yeah overall its a pretty cool system. ATM we're kinda refluffing it so it's all knights and shit, because it's usually used for conan the barbarian esque adventures, but it works perfectly this way too! Its even got Shadowrun's priority system for character creation which is nice
The Dragonlance Chronicles is easily some of the best DnD novels out there. There is also a novels series based on Forgotten Realms. It's name eludes me, but they're also really good. [editline]25th January 2015[/editline] Aaaaand I forgot to check the thread for new posts, welp. My cleric once again saved the party's ass. What was my reward for these heroic deeds, you ask? An arrow in the shoulder because our ranger critfailed when trying to kill a skeleton.

We got attacked by a pair of Brain Devourers (masquerading as Androffan scientists still in cryosleep) who sicced a gaggle of Gibbering Mounds on us before wiping the party with their telepathy. They cloned me and our ranger, took our gear, and left to do god knows what. This is the first time I wish I wasn't a min-maxing little shit. Course there's nothing wrong with modifying modules, especially to throw off people who have read them, but hot damn that sucks dude. And hey I love Eberron. Can't go wrong with Indiana Jones adventure mixed with James Bond politics and warforged pimps. Warforged pimps are deep, man. It's like, "does this mean they have a soul when they whore out women like humans do?"

Also we're not dead, the Brain Devourers just kept us alive because they want to keep cloning new bodies once the old ones rot.
Not sure if it's already happening, but anyone want to set up a regular play session? I checked around and none of my friends want to play, and I really want to.
Well, today's game of Burst was something. Post-post-humorously saved Christmas like, a 3rd fucking time by saving a kid who had like, super cancer, finally made it past Christmas and all that entails, and now we are stuck in a Chess tournament like the bunch of nerds we are. Thank god we aren't /actually/ playing a game within the game, or else that would be a bit much. [sp]We're totally going to end up doing that anyways come next game though.[/sp] [editline]25th January 2015[/editline]
Not sure if it's already happening, but anyone want to set up a regular play session? It's a bit different from the typical DnD or Pathfinder settings, but if you're willing to try something different, send him a PM.

Really, you didn't like Dorn? He was badass
Anyone have any experience with Barbarians of Lemuria? Is it good? How do games go?
Not sure if this is the place to put this, but I DMed my first game and we actually had a super rad time, though most of the time was spent going "I push [friend #2] off the ledge" or trying to figure out some of the rules we didn't focus to much on when reading the actual instructions. We left off with both of the player at two health and fighting 3 goblins at full health, time to prepare for what happens when their asses get smashed.
knight quest is gonna be hype as shit are you hype get hype [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13239915/KQ.png[/t]
What is Knight Quest.
What is Knight Quest.
The next game by Rear, originally inspired by this image but not at quite the same level of silly.
knight quest is gonna be hype as shit are you hype get hype [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13239915/KQ.png[/t]
I don't see any spear knight in there
I don't see any spear knight in there
Red, aka me.
why did they make the spear knight red what the fuck
knight quest is gonna be hype as shit are you hype get hype [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13239915/KQ.png[/t]
I see a shameful lack of Two Swords Knight here.
I see a shameful lack of Two Swords Knight here.
Maybe he finally learned shields aint for pussies the hard way :v:
I see a shameful lack of Two Swords Knight here.
I was considering having my archer double as that but it's sort of hard to pass up the '50% chance not to be shanked' thing shields have going on
I see a shameful lack of Two Swords Knight here.
seeing as combat can be decided in a single turn, id rather stick with my sword and shield than get my skull caved in with a hammer :v:
