is it bad if honestly i don't feel like seeing the "choose next hero" vote goal being reached since if it does all the idiots will say "techies" and then proceed to feed a million kills in every pub game

yeah pretty much. someone did a poll on reddit about like 75% of people voted for techies. it's going to be awful :(

I felt kinda bad for this guy I played with today
He calls mid but doesnt pick, another guy randoms/picks sniper and demands mid, the other guy ends up picking ogre magi and supporting, I'm surprised he never complained about not being able to go mid, even after sniper gave first blood
I'm also wondering why the enemy luna who feed on sniper didn't have many levels, she was level 6 when the two people on unsafe were level 5 (almost 6)

I have never had that much of a problem with "Russians and BRs", I usually just run into asshole Americans/English speakers. The stereotypical "Russians and BRs" that you run into usually want to find a game as fast as possible, so they search with as many options selected as they can, and on the standard queue.
If you're solo queuing then use the Solo Queue option, only search your regional server, and don't play All Pick, All Pick is the most played in queues, so its the most likely to have "unwanted" players.

It makes me sad that devs just try to make a copypaste of league instead of dotalikes with a twist (like awesomenauts and MNC)
