Everything looks fantastic in the TI3 HUD except for the top. I've noticed that they allow the bottom section of the HUDs to extend a bit past the original borders, why do they keep the top in that boring rectangle in every single one?

Yes you can attack while linked(you can also shadowblade n shit)
I go survivability(Mek or Hood) then into AS like a SB(Invis-a-link someone then hit em for 300+ and the SB bonus dmg) or AC. Then I get situational items like Deso/MKB or Halberd.

You can, and it's glorious. With a good amount of speed you'l eventually sap all of their damage and destroy them while they're helpless.
Razor can also steal damage through magic immunity, which makes him a good counter to Naix.
This also makes Bane or Naga good partners with him, he begins the damage leech and then they sleep the enemy. Bane steals everything with no interruption.
If the enemy has 0 attack damage, they can't deal damage with on-hit effects such as Feast either.

To be honest, they probably didn't know that it still stole through BKB at the time. Static Link used to have the weird interaction where, if you targeted it, it didn't go through magic immunity, but if you ground targeted it, it could latch through magic immunity. This video might have been around the time when they changed it so that it just always went through magic immunity and couldn't be ground targeted anymore. Even Purge was like "Does this work?"

Yeah, it's an amazing tool with tons of potential, but it needs a bit of coordination to be really effective as anything other than an escape mechanism.

While I agree with this, I don't think that adding some Youtube stars as announcers is a good idea, similar to the Na'Vi courier or the DotaCinema ward (which isn't in), they make the the game look less DotA and more like current TF2.
The good thing about announcer that you don't like is that you never hear or see them unless you want to.

Yes, the Jellyfish and the man carrying a pig couriers do not make it look less like DotA.
You don't even see the announcers in-game... you just hear them when you selected them...
