You wouldn't. if you're so desperate to increase your burst, Build a dagon or whatever. Once carried a game with that. That game was over in 17 minutes. Lion is not meant to be used for dedicated burst, though. He's mainly a disabler. Sheepstick allaway.

I just had a very bad game.
The very first moment of the pick phase began with a instapick Lifestealer stating 'jungle ls'. Oh boy. Then after I picked AM saying I'd go safe-lane, we get both a Kunkka and a Spirit Breaker. Next thing I know I have 400 ping on US East (where I usually get 30~) and thankfully I could still last-hit perfectly for a while. Then I was instagibbed by a Nyx. Oh, this Nyx was special, he had no missing calls on him at mid by Kunkka, and when I looked at the scoreboard, 7 mins in Kunkka already died to him 3 times. Then it just escalated downward with Veno leaving my lane to help SB top (whyyy) and Spirit Breaker rushing headlong into a 5-man alone while pinging furiously.
We ended up losing to a snowballed Ursa and, to the extreme laughter to my entire team, Kunkka claimed that this match was 'very high'. Ha, that was obviously a joke, right?..
Right?

only way we can know whether or not you threw the game is by watching it and you may as well save us the trouble and do that yourself
otherwise by deaths alone you are a prime throw candidate and my guess is you got caught out alone a bunch of times late into the game

I thought I did pretty well, riki and huskar got fed and got to a point where they were unkillable, and that wasn't even close to my fault

well razor isn't supposed to die in teamfights due to his abilities which imply a tank sort of role and your item build isn't helping that
your only real survivability is a random heart of tarrasque that makes a sudden interjection in your all dps build
What items are better on him then? I"m still bad enough at the game to not stray from guides.
i am quite fond of getting drums on him, and bkb is nigh essential for being able to keep up for static link
if you're up against a highly physical damage team a vanguard never hurts if you get it up early enough and if you're up against a highly magical damage team a hood of defiance is lovely especially if built into a pipe later
manta is lovely on EVERY agility hero (except venge, veno, and nyx), and lifesteal is nice due to static link
heart and butterfly are good lategame options, and a halberd might be situationally good
(highly subjective) i've also considered an armlet on razor but then again i'm a weird person who likes armlet almost as much as maruhai does
Razor is capable of dealing his own damage already, through static link and field, and his ultimate does great amounts of damage over time. With this in mind, you want Razor to be tanky rather than building for DPS. A think one of the better items you could have picked up was a BKB since they had two good disables and a ton of slow/silence spells, not to mention Huskar picked up a halberd.

now I get people with 2-3 wins on my team every game I am thoroughly confused.
as a professional razor player and devon wargod fanatic let me tell u somethin
get phase drums yasha casual hp booster into manta is the way 2 go and then after that you can build the hp booster into heart or whatever u want
pair w/ heroes w cool stuns n shit; if you're not mid and dont need to harass very hard skip plasma n get ur passive + static link to keep the link up like 23098290283% of the time
razor + rooftrellen is a v good combo created by me and maruhai & popularized by dd.dota in ti3 west qualifiers; stick ur razor mid and have the tree guy just imba the shit out of him by giving him a free refraction and let him dive to keep the link on + probably get crazy fed via kills under tower haha fuck this hero is almost broken

I'm pretty sure you two weren't actually the first two to play as Razor and Treant and have Treant use his heal on Razor
