Played against a Slark that build Battlefury last night. I cried.
Hell, I rushed Eye of Skadi then a Bloodstone. NO REGRET
Yup. Anybody here play Juggernaut? I've wanted to try another build apart from my own, which goes: Pms -> Phase -> Perseverance -> Bfury -> Situational
Ever since I've stopped building Bfury i've done much better as Jugg PMS > Phase > Wand > Drum > Deso/Manta > Aghs > BKB late game > Luxuries like Butterfly etc Lothars is really fun too from early to mid game before or after Drums. Good ganks and more escaping
I'm terrible at betting, I barely knows what teams are good/bad/better than the one they're playing against.
it doesnt amp damage 30% of the damage dealt is dealt at the end of the duration so if you did 1000 damage to someone, 300 damage would be dealt at the end.
you're telling someone who builds orchids often what it does ok
I'm terrible at betting, I barely knows what teams are good/bad/better than the one they're playing against.
I kind of know how good most teams are, I've still managed to lose all but one of my rares. (Which I'm betting only betting on Alliance over and over again till I get another rare)
Played against a Slark that build Battlefury last night. I cried.
I was Bane with a bountyhunter against Luna/QoP, Bounty tried to get a BFury, maxed Jinada and Invis first with ult @ 6, 1 point in stats @ 10 then ult again before FINALLY getting Shuriken at 12. His reasoning? "I couldn't find any stragglers alone" Bitch you had a Bane next to you with 2 squishy heroes against you I will make one of those alone

Something like a Maelstrom/Mjollnir, Desolator, Daedalus, BFly, MKB etc. will work. BFury and Mjollnir give more AoE damage for potential multi-target shredding, but the cleave and chainlightnings aren't always reliable. Killing a single enemy with 2 jumps less means you get 2 jumps on other enemies you normally wouldn't get.
Desolator is core on Jugg imo, also increases the damage from Omnislash.
razor + rooftrellen is a v good combo created by me and maruhai & popularized by dd.dota in ti3 west qualifiers
from a frenchie to frenchies
from a frenchie to frenchies
lol i played dk with armlet ask me anything lol i made it :)) finland represent
A question : If Jugg has enough attack speed to attack in between Omnislash slashes, does battlefury cleave work on those attacks ?
if you kill a creep, do you get exp regardless of distance?
lol i played dk with armlet ask me anything lol i made it :)) finland represent
i like this post a lot [editline]22nd May 2013[/editline]
if you kill a creep, do you get exp regardless of distance?
no
lol i played dk with armlet ask me anything lol i made it :)) finland represent
i created magic wand ask me anything (as long as it's not to surrender)
I don't get the obsession with the Magic wand. Sure, it can give you some burst healing and I admit, it has saved my life a few times. But why buy it every single game in every possible situation?
5 extra charges and 3 iron branches condensed into one item slot. And it's fairly cost effective for those two things, especially considering you would have bought at least 1 if not more of those branches as your starting items.
That was also directed at the magic stick. I mean, it's a great item to get against Bats/Bristle, no doubt. But it's not necessary against other heroes.
http://dotabuff.com/matches/200734215 Decided to try a Lion build that was posted here. I died a lot because I got focused, that means something, r-right?
http://dotabuff.com/matches/167038956 Yes. Upgrade the damn Dagon son!
That was also directed at the magic stick. I mean, it's a great item to get against Bats/Bristle, no doubt. But it's not necessary against other heroes.
It's useful if: 1. The enemy has spammable spells (e.g. Batskater/Bristleback) 2. The enemy needs to use spells to get things done (e.g. Chaos Knight, Sven) 3. You have a small manapool (e.g. Dragon Knight, Skeleton King) 4. If the enemy has Axe. Few people remember that Culling Blade can be avoided by using your Stick/Wand at júst the right moment. In other words it's useful in virtually every situation ever. On top of that it's extremely cost-efficient and it's dirt cheap. Hence why you should always get one.
A question : If Jugg has enough attack speed to attack in between Omnislash slashes, does battlefury cleave work on those attacks ?
Mjollnir also works which makes it superior in my opinion You can attack twice between each bounce with enough attack speed, with 2 Mjollnirs you also cast a chainlightning almost every second strike
Tried dragon knight again after using him when I was super super new and whoo lordy he's pretty fun. That stun sets up firsts bloods real easy, great for teamfights, his dragon breath has surprisingly long range and he's tanky as fuck. Why do people say he's a bad hero again?
People called DK a bad hero?
I've seen it in more than one place, just as confused as you.
I had someone tell me CK is a shit carry, so anything's possible.
CK's late game is immensely underrated. If you have good farm you and your illusions crit for 900+, so thats a chance to hit someone once for 3600 damage
I can see why bad/new players consider him a bad hero. He's incredibly tanky but in terms of damage he doesn't deal that much without farm, with farm he doesn't equal the great numbers agility heroes put out and none of his abilities have a standout WOW factor. But those people ignore that he's got the longest lvl1 stun in the game, a longrange nuke with a mere 12 second cooldown and the fact he very quickly becomes incredibly tanky.
CK's late game is immensely underrated. If you have good farm you and your illusions crit for 900+, so thats a chance to hit someone once for 3600 damage
Yup. Thanks to the Illusions dealing full damage CK can wreck people with very little farm while scaling exceptionally well with farm.
A dark seer last game told me he was a better jungler than I (Naix) and proceed to farm the entire game. We lost. At 20 minutes.
he deals a lot of damage for someone as tanky and as much utility as he has
