also why do PLs and Nagas rush crit
if you had a hero with 100 base damage and a Daedalus, he would have 100+81 damage and crit for 434 damage. If this hero had an illusion that dealt 100% damage, he would have your 100 base damage and hold your daedalus, but he wont have the raw damage from the daedalus, only the critical strike itself, so it would crit for its own base damage which would end up as 240 damage despite it showing 434 damage. If you rushed daedalus on a PL, a this point your illusions would have 25% of your base damage, which is 25, so they would crit for 60 damage despite you having 181 damage every hit you dont crit
Honestly, PL isn't all that OP. I rarely ever lose to one anymore and when I do, it's usually because my team has been fucking up rather than him just being too powerful.
His winrate in competitive isn't high at all either.
He's not but the fact he can flashfarm extremely well and is still a major threat with very little farm is utter bullshit for how strong he eventually becomes.
Also I won a game as morphling recently 6/0/15, he's still a fucking amazing carry. he has 11 base damage less than he used to but if you get two slippers and branches, then skill morph first and give yourself 4 agility points then you have decent damage. nothing good but not bad.

credit his win/loss ratio to that fuckawful skill build, but also people who go morphling mid (when he cant bullshit his way to 75 damage at level one and out last hit everyone) or people who rush ethereal blade thinking they can instagib everyone when it takes them 25 minutes to farm it up anyways
also people use his ult to spawn a friend and send to base rather than clone another carry and fuck the enemy team up, seriously imagine ulting a PL - if you get lucky enough with illusion procs then PL's illusion will solo himself

poor thing
max wave and morph delay replicate to 9 best morph skillbuild
max wave and morph delay replicate to 9 best morph skillbuild
i thought it was the only build but apparently not
i thought it was the only build but apparently not
there is only one justification to getting adaptive strike before 10 and that's if your teammates have nothing they can use to interrupt channeling without it being a waste
so basically the kind of thing that might happen in every 1 in 25 games
[editline]23rd May 2013[/editline]
even then only one point at best
getting one early for the ministun is kinda viable as long as you at least max morph second - kinda like how people skill doom because scorched earth is an amazing skill
very funny valve
Yesterday I waited 69 minutes to play.
holy shit
the most used puck skillbuild doesn't level phase shift till 10
But Phase Shift is a damn useful ability, right? It allows you to avoid damage and can help you stay safe whilst you blink into your Orb; why on Earth would someone NOT skill into PS earlier?
Also what is the W/L ratio on that build?
holy shit

shit if i need to, i get 2 points in phase shift before i finish maxing silence, its so helpful against certain teams

Windrunner's also pants on head retarded
Scratch that enchantresse's skill build is out of this world.
Also what is the W/L ratio on that build?
62.61%
Windrunner's also pants on head retarded

45.40% with that build being the most built, you know I'd assume she has a negative w/l ratio because of creep microing, but i wonder how people get away with it. not even a level one enchant and ignored til after the other skills are maxed, let alone maxing enchant first. just no sense is made, you'd literally just be a walking heal
[editline]24th May 2013[/editline]
just how the hell do you lane that
[editline]24th May 2013[/editline]
shit if i need to, i get 2 points in phase shift before i finish maxing silence, its so helpful against certain teams
you only really need one level, the only benefit of levelling it up to max is so you can blink out unharmed imo, if im not blinking out then i always prematurely cancel it
holy shit

Wuh wa ah m HWAT
HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK
I take a level of phase shift at level 2 then max it last, am I doing it right ?
I just had a 20 minute game, the Axe on our team went behind the radiant's first bottom tower and started to attack the creeps there, so their bottom tower got half healthed by our Dire creeps.
Then we just 5 manned after ganking the two heroes on bottom lane and smushed down all the towers until they rage quitted one by one.
I find that making the enemy rage quit is the best dota strategy.
it's actually legit to emotionally drain people, sometimes it's impossible for 5 players that don't know each other/communicate to get their shit together in time to do something and just end up doing stupid shit and feeding
Im not sure bout you guys but when i replicated PL in matches lately, my replicate wont proc illus.
I personally don't play puck but if I did I'd probably get orb at level 1, then phaseshift at 2, then max silence then orb then phaseshift
I'm probably really dumb for maxing silence first but oh well
I personally don't play puck but if I did I'd probably get orb at level 1, then phaseshift at 2, then max silence then orb then phaseshift

i don't play it either but that looks pretty logical to me, the only thing that scales on orb is damage while the silence gets just as much damage + longer disable duration

Isnt phase shift good at level one? Low cd anti harass.

I think static link being taken at level 8 is more absurd like static link is 80% of what makes razor so good.
yeah but having the levels in unstable current and a bit of tankiness from farm is what makes static link so good
Static Link is the Meat Hook of Razor, without it he's nothing.
well I got banned from tobi's stream chat, 360p is lagging like hell so I got upset and sent this.
360p is lagging tobi you fat nazi fix the stream
can't say it wasn't worth it.
Whats a good Tinker build?
[editline]23rd May 2013[/editline]
I mean the items you buy on him, a purchase order would be great if possible
Rush Boots of Travel and Soulring (If ancient farming, Soulring first, then BoT) (If laning, Boots, Bottle/Soulring and then BoT)
Then go for whatever activatable item you want, such as Forcestaff, Blinkdagger, Dagon, Orchid, Sheepstick etc.
Halberd may be a worthwhile item if you need to disable more than 2 carries during fights (Laser blinds, Halberd for disarm and Sheepstick for the semi-stun), Shiva's Guard also can be spammed in conjunction with March of Machines for big AoE damage. Shivas also slows anyone it hits so they can't escape the machines as easily.
Bloodstone may be considered when you have at least 1 offensive item with an activatable spell (disable or nuke) and you're getting fed
If you're going for a more supporty build, Pipe can also be spammed to counter massive spell damage. Mekansm can't be spammed though so don't get it.

if you're laning get a soul ring so you can leave the lane once you have some leves and go farm the jungle/ancinents.
If you're mid get a bottle and rush bts and then farm a soul ring.
once you get bt's a blink dagger will come in handy becuase you can shift blink the tress, because tinker a pain in the ass and the other dudes will want to kill you.

The game is entirely under your control and everyone on it is your puppet once you get boots of travel.
[editline]23rd May 2013[/editline]
I usually go Soul Ring -> Boots of Travel -> Dagon 1 -> the following Dagon recipes
[editline]23rd May 2013[/editline]
Here's some games where I did just that:

Whatever you get after Dagon 5 is luxury.
