Enchantress with Heart and Shivas is borderline immortal. It takes a concentrated team effort to take her down and even then if you're focusing Ench then what is her team up to?
Heart and Shiva's is a lot of farm though, if you managed to get up that much as Enchantress you're probably going to win anyway.
i think it's a poor item on her in general. You need the fast diffusal to make up for your lack of early/mid game. Building tanky after a diffusal is probably the best option, i usually go tranquils/diffusal/heart/manta/bfly depending on how the game is going
Speaking of Spectre, is picking up a radiance late on her valid? Rushing it seems to be a bit risky, when you can get a fast diffusal and later manta to destroy mid-game. Afterwards it seems to synergize with dispersion a lot, sure it won't do much to the carries, but the supports will cry a lot.
late radiance is awful period. it's worse than a late midas imo
radiance is more a "fuck you have burn damage cause im tanky item" when you talk about it late game but it doesnt scale that well later on, 60 burn damage at the late game is kinda weak. also your illusions do get the burn, yes, but they dont stack anyways so if the enemy is grouped up its a pretty big waste. they dont get the 60 damage from the 3800 gold you saved up for either.
alliance ti3 winners?
Just played against a shit talking Nature's and Gyro. They said it was an 'easy win' for me because I chose PL, and they chose those heroes to specifically counter me (not to mention they had a Lifestealer on their team). Yes, I'm totally broken when you let me free farm for 30 minutes.
It always seems to happen with PL. AM? Push and finish before 30. Void? Gank that fucker into oblivion. Medusa? bwahaha good joke. PL? Nah man it's cool we don't need to gank him or finish fast OMFG IMBA HERO
Spectre basically says 'Shut me down with a trilane!,' while Visage is basically just the try-me-motherfucker hero in that situation.
Visage, if played well, is godlike and imo one of the very best heroes earlygame.
Enchantress with Heart and Shivas is borderline immortal. It takes a concentrated team effort to take her down and even then if you're focusing Ench then what is her team up to?
Heart is core on her, imo. She's naturally difficult to kill with autoattacks, add a Heart to that and she already gets boosted to near-immortality against all but the strongest team efforts/farmed carries.
So, What do ya guys think of the low violence models?
So, What do ya guys think of the low violence models?
All are pretty great, except for AA. I'd love them as alternative models and portraits.
So, What do ya guys think of the low violence models?
they're neat
alliance ti3 winners?
maybe after their performance in g1 league i feel they have a pretty big chance
you mean she's scary in any standard lategame engagement lol
no man if you cant 1v5 you are shit carry and should unstal [editline]26th May 2013[/editline] Has anyone else experienced betting on dota2lounge, and then the teams you bet on randomly disappear and get replaced with someone else, and both of those new teams has a lot higher percentage chance to win but still lose both?
So me and My freind were discussing what life would be like If couriers could use items. It stated off as an offhand mention about how buying a stout shield for the courier would an interesting idea. Then we realized that if the courier can use items, you basically have an always disarmed lone druid bear. It started off innocently enough as say "lets use the courier to place wards" or "the courier can use dust in a pinch to sport invisibles." Then it got more and more silly... We pondered the idea that giving the courier Meka, Vlads and other aura items would make a great kind of "support drone." but we didn't stop there, oh no! Courier with shadowblade, gem and phase boots to act as a spy plane. Courier with Shivas or Veil to act as a portable mini support. Courier with Radience, Dagon, Shivas, ethereal blade and heart to act as a fire support platform. The idea that couriers could be bought and built to fit the poles that some heroes would fill entertained us. We speculated that it mean that lategame supports could buy items to help them get off their ultimate's or even Damage items to add to the total damage you deal to enemy targets. Then we realized that you can buy as many couriers as you want, the supply and versatility of the courier drone is effectivly near infinite. Of course we saw downsides, the fact that you;d have to farm for two-three even four heros is beyond the capacity for most players and the ability to micro them would require a Korean Octo-tarantula on hand at all times. Yes the idea is impractical... but admit it, you would REALLY love to snipe a feeling enemy hero with a dagon courier, or have one of the little guys follow you into battle as you own personal mini support. With orchid and meka and shivas.
I'm not sure about anything else, but couriers can use Smoke of Deceit.
I'm not sure about anything else, but couriers can use Smoke of Deceit.
They also get truesight with a Gem I believe.
put radiance on the courier and shallow grave it.
soul booster + dagon crow was totally legit back when flying couriers had shield. [SUP]like, if you had a 20k gold lead and were totally slotlocked[/SUP]
They also get truesight with a Gem I believe.
it's disabled because otherwise you could just use it for safe-ish counterwarding. also this reminds me of back when the flying upgrade first came out and no one had any idea what to do with it other than cheesy item strats. the average player is way too smart these days.
All are pretty great, except for AA. I'd love them as alternative models and portraits.
AA got like the worst serious face i have ever seen.
Stack couriers and Midases new meta.
we shall never speak of this day again
Tiny almost had his core items established.
Just asking: should I just continue playing with bots until I know a build and then actually start playing? As of now I am terrible with mechanics still.
;40788333']Just asking: should I just continue playing with bots until I know a build and then actually start playing? As of now I am terrible with mechanics still.
Bots are awful, play with them until you know the basics then jump into the beginners league.
Bots are awful, play with them until you know the basics then jump into the beginners league.
Gotcha.
Also, when you're confident that you are skilled enough to play against real players, play a match against unfair bots. They are better than most new-ish players so if you can manage to do decently vs them, you should be good.
Bots are awful, play with them until you know the basics then jump into the beginners league.
Bots are the best way to learn strats against chinese
I didn't start playing against real people until I was familiar with all the basic mechanics and got comfortable playing four or five heroes. I was a little nervous about jumping into real matches, but the worst thing about playing with new/low-skilled players wasn't even the unfriendly community. It was just the amount of people that would abandon games.
Bots are awful, play with them until you know the basics then jump into the beginners league.
I always play against bots when I'm learning a new hero. Good way to get a hang of things and to get some mechanics you might miss otherwise. For instance, I thought AA's ult was point target altogether. It took a bot match for me to find out first use sends the pointer ball and using your ult again actually sends the damn thing out.
Dota 2 traders are so much worse than Tf2 traders. I could easily trade a weapon for another weapon in Team Fortress 2, but on Dota 2 people are just ridiculous. "MY COMMON DROW BOW FOR 5 RARES FAST TRADE NO LOWBALLERS"
gl hv fn ;)

"MY COMMON DROW BOW FOR 5 RARES FAST TRADE NO LOWBALLERS"
I usually have no trouble with folks from Outpost, at least. Almost everyone's friendly, gives their greetings and thanks, the trades are fair and nobody complains. There was one guy who had a small fit when he pointed out that I added him when he specified not to, until I mentioned that it didn't say that on his Outpost trade and apparently only on his D2lounge one. I'm assuming the regulars there are far worse.
