I feel kinda bad for enjoying Medusa.
She can be useful, but i feel like there's something else i could be doing besides farming and the occasional teamfight assist by using the ult. Crazy snake lady.
Well yeah
You can now completely fuck over your own nukers AND not get your kills stolen, because if the enemy looks at you for more then 2 seconds they get 100% magic resist, only right clicks will damage em
I seriously feel like doing big-ass post. It's likely to be a berlin-wall tier as I am thinking on comment to every little change. Shut it or write it ?
go ahead we love your posts
Maybe you should explain your reasoning before you decide to call people who rate you dumb, dumb.
Fine. It should be self evident, but whatever.
PROBLEMS WITH THIS UPDATE:
Necrolyte's Aghanims Upgrade-
It's ludicrously situational, incredibly frustrating to play against, and a a really random, idiotic mechanical change for the sake of change. It will not make him relevant to the metagame in the slightest and only serves as a "But look what cool stuff THIS hero can do!" change.
Doom's Aghanims Upgrade-
Holy duly this overpowered as shit. In addition to removing the only heroes who were strong against Doom besides Medusa, PERMADOOM WITH SCEPTER.
I don't even.
Bloodstone Active-
Self-Denial on command is the worst idea I've ever heard. Hair-pullingly frustrating to play against, with a very, very tiny actual benefit to the user given that by the time it's relevant, it's already late game and a single kill means very little.
Skeleton King's Crit-
A hero beloved for his simplicity? Better give him an additional active that overwrites his steroid when used that has little to no synergy with him as hero.
Observer Wards changes-
You like playing solo offlane? TOO BAD.
Edit: And don't even fucking get me started on the captains mode changes.
Ok so you deny yourself, you drop immediately. Does seem to grant XP, but no gold. Might be mistaken though.
brb I'll try the Bloodstone thing
Can you test if you can suicide while shallow graved?
3. Let me guess your attitude towards Earth Spirit : he has Innate ability. Boo fucking hoo. Dota has innate abilities, most of them are subtle (Nyx's increased regen, newfound Meepo's buffed base M.Resistance, high armor on Night Stalker, stats/stat gains ,etc). His ability is buffer for his other abilities, it's unique and unlike any other Dota hero. It is similar to League's heros with buffers, but he is alone for now like that in Dota. He didn't add a passive to every hero and changed half the heroes to use different resource than mana.
I dislike the change to Meepo, too. But it's not just the passive.
Earth Spirit is a hero with a innate ability and a stockpile, of spammy, low impact skills. Which describes 80% of League champs.
i think that bloodseeker buff is fucking bullshit

non-channeled fiends grip
Naix and Clockwerk nerfs are absolutely retarded. Cogs were only non-ultimate skill to stop naix from fucking up everything with his free bkb. And smaller range on open wounds? Are you fucking kidding me? What the hell does that change, naix is never alone. He is always next to supports that handle the initiation and always gets in melee range before even using open wounds. It should be melee range on all levels to make the hero even a bit balanced. I hate this patch, there's some fun aghanim changes but that's pretty much all. Good thing its gonna take months or year for valve to apply this patch anyway.
Starting 6.78, Bloodseeker is the best towerdiver bar none.
And he's actually a great hero now.
[editline]30th May 2013[/editline]
Although I do not, in fact, like the change on Power Cogs.

Disruption > Open Wounds
Changes like
- Flesh Heap strength bonus increased from 0.9/1.2/1.5/1.8 to 1/1.5/2/2.5
- Nether Blast structure damage increased from 33% to 50% [in lieu of armour increase]
- Ravage AoE rescaled from 825/925/1025 to 1025
- Maledict cast range increased from 400 to 525
- Aghanim's Finger of Death CD decreased from 160/100/40 to 100/60/20
are really interesting. Will probably see all of those show up a bit more now.

lmao the N'aix nerf means nothing indeed, he's still first pick/ban, especially since Clock just got really nerfed in regards to magic immunity.
The only thing that got nerfed with naix was his first blood potential. He can still get first blood but only with another person slowing/stunning the enemy before him.
I like Necrolytes buffs, now people can stop stealing my kills when Im about to kill them with scythe.
Or you should use it sparingly?
But I guess it's alright that it now really secures to kill for Necrolyte, even if his Ult didn't go off really..
[editline]30th May 2013[/editline]
Also Bloodseeker's Bloodrage, can it even dispel Omni's ult off of some target?
It said it can dispel shit like Ethereal form but what else I wonder.
Is Icefrog fucking stoned?
The Necrolyte Aghs is retarded, the change to SK is really awkward, Earth Spirit feels like a League hero, and whoever came up with the Bloodstone idea should be shot.
BRB getting in as much 6.77 time as I can before the game is ruined.
Edit: People who don't understand the game at all rating me dumb becuase any change our glorious leader icefrog makes must be good.
People are dumb voting you because you are acting like a fucking child, throwing up your arms and screaming about how the game is going to be shit even though you haven't played it. Stop acting like everyone but you is part of a hive mind to excuse people not liking your opinion.
I gotta say some of those new Heroes seem weird to me. I haven't even played Arc Warden or the other one yet, not to mention the unreleased heroes but I know how they work in a nut-shell.

- It's a gimmick for a boring hero who had an entirely useless Aghs upgrade previously. Anything at all is a good thing for Necro
- The Doom thing isn't OP. Not by a long shot. Super annoying, yea, but not broken. Doom was already teetering between balanced and slightly underpowered and this will push him further from that line
- "On command" is ignoring the 5 minute cool down. Implying that late game kills are meaningless is silly. Late game gold is incredibly important because late game items are crazy expensive.
- Skeleton King's simplicity was his downfall. He's just boring and not really powerful because he doesn't really do anything significant. Now he can harass a lane easily and have a good chance at first blood. Also a good excuse to not just level stats constantly.
- Most players won't even notice the ward change. Most comp players probably won't either. It's not as big of a deal as you make it, it's just a tad extra gold to pull camp block and that's about it.
- The captain's mode change allows more heroes to slip through and be picked. It'll lead to more variety in picks and is a much needed change.
oh cool DK's lvl 2 ult is a straight upgrade now.
Omni's upgrade is fucking crazy.
Silencer's too.
SK's thing sounds plain weird...
Bottle-crowing nerf makes runes and contesting them more important. Kinda neat i suppose.
indestructible Gem...eh.
Looks like stone gaze might be kind of useful now.
Echo Slam is now anti-PL. awesome.

did you really tell other people they didn't understand dota and then call disabling buybacks "ludicrously situational" and "irrelevant"? holy fuck you're the definition of dunning-kruger

Omniknight's ult is useless when you realise how fucking unlikely it is for an Omniknight to actually get it. I also don't see any way this makes Omniknight useful. Silencer's ult's nice but making an Agh's for it? I dunno.
also the doom change is fine. when you doomed someone two things would happen: A) their team would turn up and beat you back, doomed hero survives or gets denied, B) nobody would turn up and you'd fucking murder them because they were doomed. this scepter change makes absolutely no difference to either scenario

It makes being in a teamfight while Doomed a lot more scary though.
well yeah, but how many teamfights last for more than 12 seconds?

It makes a difference on farmed carries who could still autoattack you to death (teamfight or not) and happily survive the Doom anyway. Also makes a difference for when you doom someone, run after him but he manages to get away on just that sliver of health.

B-but it's global. You can just be taking a piss somewhere in the map and BAM SURPISE EVERYONE'S INVINCIBLE.
and it heals towers.
IT HEALS TOWERS
just cause it's hard to get doesn't mean it's amazing.

It's global. Cool. Why the fuck are you not in team fights as an Omni anyway?
It's global. Cool. Why the fuck are you not in team fights as an Omni anyway?
Sometimes it's hard to hit your whole team with dat AoE.
perhaps someone's running away into one side, the other's to another.
also early-game you can save/help multiple people even when you left the lane to ward or some shit.
also it healts towers.
They are all really basic, except for the Oracle who is full of strange abilities. Even the Earth Spirit; especially the Earth Spirit.
Arc Warden is basic to you? Wyvern is basic? Terrorblade? Xin? Say whaaaa
Skrff streamed the new heroes and some of the new spell changes here:
http://www.twitch.tv/skrff/b/410233018
skip to about 3 minutes in and he fixes his stream.
according to the dev forums, Earthshaker's ult had always counted illusions as heroes in Dota 2... so, not really a buff for him there :x
