i just played clinkz i remember why i liked him he is speed racer on coccaine
Am I the only one that thinks Treant is one of the more exciting supports? I mean it's like, you can do more then sit there and babysit your carry. You gotta watch the rest of your team and towers and heal 'em, you can go invis to scout/ward or harass the shit out of the enemies with Leech Seed, if someone else buys courier + wards somehow and you have enough cash for a Quelling Blade you become a denying MONSTER, and being able to basically melt the other supports in three hits is always hilarious. And yet all anyone ever talks about is casting Living Armor for 40 minutes. And his ult is basically Ravage but instead of tentacle rape it's vines!

Treant is fun to me because I enjoy trying to keep everyone and all towers at full hp at all times, and it's fun as hell to surprise and beat the shit out of unsuspecting enemies using natures guise.
i just played clinkz i remember why i liked him he is speed racer on coccaine
I remember when my friend played Clinkz and he demanded that he got a solo lane. So we let him have it and by 20 minutes he said "okay I'm farmed" and within 6 minutes we were taking the enemy's ancient and had destroyed all of their towers.
I remember seeing a dota wtf game (part of a tourney?) where radiant picked sniper and treant, and treant literally sat in spawn and spammed living armor on everyone
found it
Every once in a while I pick visage, maybe because I wish I wasn't so shit at micro I spend a few seconds when absoltuely nothing is happening trying to set a good comfortable control group for the gargoyles, this time I tried to keep them behind me at all times and follow me, because they got killed twice during early game Now I realised how most of the time they got killed after stone form was over, and because I left one of them behind
And his ult is basically Ravage but instead of tentacle rape it's vines!
Reminds me of that one escene on the first Evil dead movie, where a possesed tree rapes a girl :v:
Does anyone know if there's a pack of hero icons I can download? Something similar to the portraits at the top of the screen in-game would be perfect. I'm writing a steam guide and having some icons to slot in would be perfect.

Well it'll be a pain in the ass to download each one individually but it's better than nothing. Thanks!
Ugh, I hate when my team is doing well but someone gets greedy and dies 2 minutes after getting a Rapier.
Even worse when somebody insta-calls mid and picks witch doctor. 0/23/1 help :(
What is this mythical -ping thing I keep seeing it everywhere but i dont know what it does
What is this mythical -ping thing I keep seeing it everywhere but i dont know what it does
It... shows you your ping. That is to say, your latency in ms. However, only you can see your ping when you do that, but everyone can see that you typed -ping.
Ugh, I hate when my team is doing well but someone gets greedy and dies 2 minutes after getting a Rapier.
Reminds me of a game I was specing while waiting for my q to pop. The Dire were pushing Radiant's mid rax, Jakiro fucks off to the secret shop, comes back with a rapier, immediately dies. Lucky for them their BH picked it up and proceeded to melt every building in sight.
It... shows you your ping. That is to say, your latency in ms. i hate these fucking magnuses that blink in half a mile away from their teammates to the entire enemy team behind their tower, get off a reverse polarity that doesn't hit the disruptor or undying, then blame the team because they couldn't book a flight to follow up on the "game winning rp"

I love Bristleback. It is so satisfying to just slowly make your way out of a gank barley taking any damage, also slowing the fuck out of the other team. And then when the game is over just stand with your back against the enemy fountain to taunt the other team.
i just played clinkz i remember why i liked him he is speed racer on coccaine
Try playing Clinkz and laning with Leshrac You push down towers at the speed of light
And it's more useless.
Notice treant has little trouble deploying Living Armor, but Nature's Guise, Leech Seed and Overgrowth all require him being in the thick of things. He can get there by walking/blink daggering/sneaking in with Guise/Tiny toss/etc, but when he's there, and he's just a full blown support Treant, he won't do much beside cast his stuff once and be done with it. Now, if he has, let's say an armlet or any other efficient DPS item (item, we are not talking carry treant with 6 slots of carnage) he can continue on to be a nuisance to the enemy, especially due to his natural tankiness and powerful healing abilities in form of Leech Seed and Living Armor. He is support who can pulverise other supports.

For me the hardest part about playing Treant is the cast time on that ult. [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] might as well be channeled

Was there a Sand King in the game as well ? [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
For me the hardest part about playing Treant is the cast time on that ult. Treant can use everything apart from autoattacks while invisible. Dagon is hilarious on him due to this reason. Suddenly lazors from trees kill you while you're farming your jungle. Mek is also fantastic due to this reason. Turn fight around by suddenly healing your team and then Disabling the enemy team.
I once played Tidehunter and we had Treant playing "Janitor". He proceeds to ping the lane trees and uses guise on me. Says to go when he ults. He proceeds to blink and overgrowth, as i then ravaged and get a double kill out of three victims who i guess intended to push our tower. Treant is fun when you improvise, it seems.
That's teamwork for ya; teamwork can make a dream work, as the old song goes. Also Treant is awesome.
