I wish muted people got queued together. At least it wouldn't hurt the people who didn't do shit. It's not like reporting them will do much other than giving them a slap on the wrist at this point.
No thanks, I got muted for calling someone a dumb faggot once for doing the same mistake over and over I can't help that sometimes people are just over the line fucking bad in this game, he reported me, I reported him and we're both muted. Not everyone is a griefer while muted however, this is why we have low priority pool, the griefers go there, not the people who insulted someone one time. FYI: Ability abuse/Int. Feeding -> Low priority pool Textchat/Voice abuse -> Muted What that lone druid was doing was ability abuse and intentionally feeding and that's griefing.
Oh, right, you got unbanned ...
Yes indeed .. [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] although if I keep the quality of my posts anywhere near the old ways.. then I will be banned again in no time. But that's not what we want.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/XCV25at.jpg[/t] I figured out the perfect list for heroes for new players to play since a whole heap of my friends have suddenly picked up the game to play for various reasons and I figured a nice picture would help. Every other person's list sucks, especially that one guy on Reddit.
what is crystal maiden doing on there crystal maiden is not an easy hero at all, you're going to die A LOT
what is crystal maiden doing on there crystal maiden is not an easy hero at all, you're going to die A LOT
Yeah whilst I recommend support for new players, CM is far too slow and squishy for brand new players.

CK's mana pool is disgustingly small and requires a bit of management, and with Nyx you kind of have to choose your targets wisely, something I don't think a new player would do. Oh and venge to. Her ult requires positioning, timing and game sense.
Centaur is quite hard.
Centaur is quite hard.
You run around with high speed. You stun stuff. You do damage to enemies while damaging yourself. Not that hard really. :v:
Centaur is quite hard.
Skill-wise, maybe But he takes a long fuckin' time to die, and that's why he's good
How to deal with Naix? Keep picking on him http://dotabuff.com/matches/210977414
Nice, Ursa stomping means your enemies were real good, Lifestealer probably used the super useful jungle right?
You run around with high speed. You stun stuff. You do damage to enemies while damaging yourself. Not that hard really. :v:
Eh, it's way too easy to miss the stun because of the delay, and double edge's recoil is quite the recoil.
Silencer Global silence with scepter adds Curse of the silent... Unlike the default Curse of the silent, it affect creeps, globally pushing and killing some creeps of the small camps.
Eh, it's way too easy to miss the stun because of the delay, and double edge's recoil is quite the recoil.
Oh sorry, we're talking about retards who have no sense of time and maths? Seriously, it's not like a newbie can't land a 0.5 second delayed stun or not know howmuch approximately double edge hurts yourself after doing it 2 times.
Silencer Global silence with scepter adds Curse of the silent... Unlike the default Curse of the silent, it affect creeps, globally pushing and killing some creeps of the small camps.
Does it kill lane creeps or just damage them? If it globally killed all lane creeps when lane is pushed heavily towards you, you'd rake in so much dosh..
Oh sorry, we're talking about retards who have no sense of time and maths? Seriously, it's not like a newbie can't land a 0.5 second delayed stun or not know howmuch approximately double edge hurts yourself after doing it 2 times.
:(
Nice, Ursa stomping means your enemies were real good, Lifestealer probably used the super useful jungle right?
He kept going back to the same spot. Over, and over and over.
Does it kill lane creeps or just damage them? If it globally killed all lane creeps when lane is pushed heavily towards you, you'd rake in so much dosh..
it kills ranged creeps. with refresher, you kill every creep on the map except the biggest ones in the big camps
Silencer Global silence with scepter adds Curse of the silent... Unlike the default Curse of the silent, it affect creeps, globally pushing and killing some creeps of the small camps.
It probably means the silence works on creeps, not the damage. And even if it was the damage, it probably wouldn't work on jungle creeps.
Jakiro? His radius might be as wide as a barn door, but newbies would be better with 'click on it, it dies' spells
That would narrow our newbie pool to Lina, Lion, Jugg and Zeus. And Drow is not that easy in my opinion. Ult distance management, orb switching, good silence and such. Even more, after pubstomping noobs, man will rage quit in normal bracket, when he will get stomped [editline]4th June 2013[/editline]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/XCV25at.jpg[/t]
And where da fuck is pubmaster Invoker, how could you forget him
With regard to that guys new players list, you all said that X hero requires positioning, or mana management, or dies a lot. Well that's the best hero for learing positioning, mana management, and not dying. Just an opinion.
It probably means the silence works on creeps, not the damage. And even if it was the damage, it probably wouldn't work on jungle creeps.
I tested it, it damages creeps, it also stacks with the default CotS on heroes Also, veil of discord have 6000 radius right now :v:
I still think Lich is the best hero for newcomers, great harrass, no mana problems, supports his team, big teamfight ult (even better in low skill games and now with more bounces), hes not toooo squishy and he has really good movement speed

They could barely handle the Armlet before.
I would've agreed with Skeleton King, but his new micro-intensive mechanics in 6.78 make him damn near impossible for new players. People need to stop recommending Lion as a newbie hero. He's simple on paper but the concept of his abilities are going to blow newbies' minds, especially if they come from LoL. You see, lion has two hard CC's and it's SO tempting for new players to SPIIIIKE+hex at the same time, wasting the CC (LoL playing encourages this because nobody has two stuns and in LoL you just spam everything) Having a 600 damage nuke and not being allowed to kill anyone with it will make 0 sense, and being squishy and super position-reliant isn't going to be fun.
Ursa is great for newbies too: -Little to no mana management -easy kills in the low bracket -he's not a mandatory jungler -you only really need to remember to keep your ult on and to press w to kill Bloodseeker too, you just gotta know how to last hit and deny

You're fucking Lion, you're not supposed to limit yourself.
Seeing Linas and Lions ult people with 90hp left is like nails on chalkboard, it just makes me wince and cringe and look away and my eyes start watering.
