It's very commendable to play a hero that many times and then be willing to say that making him overly strong is uncalled for. The average person would drool at the idea of their favorite hero becoming OP.
although I guess his Huskar winrate is at least slightly above 50%

A friend who doesn't play supports often went shadow shaman, got picked off by pudge, nature's prophet, slark, and pretty much everyone on the enemy team, at one point he asked another guy who plays with us all the time "how do avoid feeding like this when playing support?"

The risk comes from all the time spent outside of Roshan's pit. If the mid hero comes to check bot rune or someone goes put a ward near the pit, your cover is instantly blown.
Also, promos are okay as long as they fit the game really well. They need to look like something that was actually designed for DotA 2.

To be honest I kinda want a more rigid system for submission but alot of people disagree.
On day o the other someone will put a very unfitting item and is going to get in just for the fact its "looks cool". I hope that day never comes.
