My friend is Lich supporting her and I'm Beastman and I'm not too hot on the scoreboard but I've kinda been calling the shots all game and we're getting rocked hard and like 45 mins in when they're raxing us I see in chat "hey NoShogun what item should I get?" and I'm thinking "oh great babby's first item all game" but I click on her and she's already got boots, Butterfly, Linkin's, and Manta and like 6500 stored up in gold.
we won that game. So every once in a while, a pub really can farm.

I played with someone who was in low prio once and down there, if you ward it's actually just worse for your team b/c they assume having this mysterious ward vision makes them invincible so they initiate 3v5's and shit

As a person who plays medusa every so often, I can safely say that medusa is not the kind of hero you want to pick in a pub. Especially if you don't have a friend or two supporting you. She requires a quite a bit of lane support and she usually cannot help the team much in the early to midgame. This forces her team to pick either pushing heroes, or heroes that can stop a push and delay the enemy from taking towers/barracks. With an uncoordinated team, her uselessness is prolonged. But a coordinated team will turn her into an unconquerable late game monster.
The only counter to Medusa is to end the game before she starts carrying (or pick faceless and hope for permabashes), which is unfortunately pretty late into the match. But with her new buff, it could be possible for her to turn on even faster and her hardcounter status against Cancer Lancer is increased.
She's a great hero, but only if your team is coordinated.

That thing looks like it should be in League rather than Dota, tbh. Then again, I don't think that League has the donkey, since you have the B function that warps you to fountain.

Well today I had a teammate who got kicked a few times due to some bug, the other team actually waited for us four times, later on same thing happened to one of their players, and we waited, It's nice to see mutual respect and understanting
And speaking about getting disconnected/kicked from the game, has this been fixed?

It's funny when people say "Dota 2 will never have unfitting items" when it's already getting all these stupid as fuck couriers that don't fit the game's setting at all. It always starts off small and I'm scared it'll get bigger. :(

the problem with the couriers isn't that they don't fit the setting, it's more of a slippery slope of "cuteness".
we keep getting these really cute couriers with big anime eyes then the next courier is an even cuter one with bigger anime eyes
eventually we'll just have a giant anime eye beholder courier and everyone will think it looks like a ward

Probably won't, but you can always swap it's files for X courier and have it ingame

That's far from cute. It's the same level of "cute" as the default courier, since it's just an animal with nothing special about it. The cutesy couriers that everyone is talking about are the new bear, Itsy, etc. etc. etc.
