How do I play QoP. Literally all my fucking games with her go horribly.
http://dotabuff.com/matches/212688623
For starters, don't rush Vyse unless you are absolutely rolling the enemy team(you weren't). You'd be better off getting an Orchid against that lineup. To be fair that's a tough team for QoP. SK, SB, and Kunkka are meaty as hell and can easily escape from you or turn and fight you. Slark and Zeus are squishy targets but again they can easily turn and fight you(and win).

Tough team for QoP to go up against. Brown Boots -> Bottle -> Orchid imo. Aghanim's is well worth it after that, adds tankyness and significantly reduces the cooldown on your ult. Depends on what you're up against though, sometimes Sheepstick/Linken's is better after Orchid. Personally I put 1 point in Dagger, 1 in Blink and max my Scream. Use your Dagger to gain lane control, getting that Dagger in your ass every time you come near the creeps adds up fast. Gank with the runes, make sure to push the lane before each runespawn. Coördinate with your team as well. While QoP is capable of killing solo, the dagger slow is absolutely lethal if your team helps you even a tiny bit. At the start pick on the squishy targets. CM for example is excellent QoP food. Once you've got Orchid, go for the tougher targets. Always keep an eye out for which heroes can nuke you down fast, QoP is quite squishy.
Thanks for the tips guys, will use them next game.
New medusa ult wrecks shit.

Gotta love it when QoP ganks you, blinks next to you and uses her scream while literally next to you...
When you're Ursa.

Yeah she's gotta be real careful without Linken's/Orchid/Sheepstick because she still has a strength gain of only 1.7.
So I come home and find out my cousin who saw dota yesterday for the first time is playing a real match instead of a co-op bot match. She lost 2 matches fucking horribly. But, on the match 2 that I witnessed ending, the round ends and the level-up happens.

Valve made a blogpost about the mute system saying that 1 game isn't enough to get you muted, if you're muted, it's multiple reports over multiple games.
Also, this is a one week ban, so that's at least your 6th Communication report.
Instead of saying the system is shit, maybe you should try to see if you're not being an ass without realising.
Anybody up for some kind of in-house game at some point? I think we should organise one, could be fun.
Man new Spirit Breaker is boss. Having auto bash on charge makes his already faceroll early game even easier. Ended up going AC, Armlet, MoM(and bkb, cryst, treads). Permabash city.

I thought that his Q was stopped by hitting enemies in between. That's what it seemed, at least.
its stopped by being disabled mid charge

No Quinn, I have played enough games with you to know that your communication ban is deserved.

Literally the first ~20 pages are nothing but PL, with a few drow games for variety.
I can't even...why...
Anybody up for some kind of in-house game at some point? I think we should organise one, could be fun.
sure, hit me up
we should probably get a list of 10 people who want to plan an in-house and randomise the teams. That seems like the most fair way of handling this.
Ok, I'll need to know A) Steam name B) Time Zone C) When you are available this / next week for the inhouse.
I'll update the below list as people enter.
1. Parja (GMT +2) (Unknown when available so far)
2. Roov (GMT +1)
3.
who
Skywrath "I swear to god if you instalock Pugna i will kick you in the teeth" Mage.
He's an incredible nuker if you can work his abilities and try to get past him being a paper towel.

recently played my first match as him, absolutely stomped
then again my entire team stomped http://dotabuff.com/matches/212143908
78 kills to 11 deaths total
He probably thought about another kind of casters. :v:
Whenever i play Medusa i feel like i'm letting the team down.
I could've picked another hero and be kitted out in half the time it takes Medusa to be ready. But all the same, she is really damn fun.
Why must i enjoy her so?
who
look at the skills maybe?
look at the skills maybe?
Again, he probably thought about another kind of caster, i.e Tobi, Luminous, Purge etc.
Personally if I'm a ranged support helping out a melee carry, I leave the melee creeps to them and take out the ranged creep in that wave, since they're usually occupied with the melee creeps and it's not like they can last-hit every single creep in the wave without at least 1 creep-kill or deny. So I usually take the ranged creep at the back as "upkeep" for stuff that helps the team like Flying Courier, Wards, items with a support aura like Drums/Basilius, and sometimes even a Clarity if they need extra mana.
If by "taking the ranged creep" you mean "autoattack it until it dies, pushing lane and taking 50g from the carry absolutely every wave even if you have enough gold/he has nothing" then it is bad.

The thing with people who get muted is that they cannot accept that they did something wrong so valve sucks and if you say otherwise you are retard fanboy.
if i queue with 3 friends and we all report someone who did nothing wrong
do they count to his ban/mute quota?
Everyone is consistently shitty about the whole situation. People who haven't been muted (yet?) fanboy for Valve's flawless system and people who have been muted are perfect angels who have never done anything wrong.
I'd really like to see how Valve determines what is a misuse of communication. That's ultimately the only way we're gonna know.
I've been reported for stuff like telling mid "stop being a moron and grab a TP scroll" when they kept dyin to Bloodseeker and kept saying tp scrolls suck, and I'm not banned and never have been. I'm assuming it's use of ~bad words~ that get you banned.
Please show me the source.
Thanks, but I never intended to say that.
I said that the art direction of TF2 (being a comic styled game) is less
likely to be completely destroyed by adding some unfitting stuff like lasers than Dota 2.
Yes, the original art direction is gone, since so many items have been added to the game,
but I also say that Dota 2 won't be hit like this so quickly, since it's not a comic game from the start.
Valve didn't even put in most Polycount winner items, since they didn't fit to the art direction.
But Dota 2 already have lasers.
Look, they had the same idea with TF2, keeping the style and such, but they ruined it. Lets just hope they learnt from that mistake
