Hrm, I think I might be a little bored of all random. I love that I'm not guaranteed to be any certain heroes, but what I hate about it is that it typically produces teams that don't synergise in any interesting/effective way. e.g. if you have a solo offlaner but no jungler, many of your skills are somewhat redundant (and trilanes never effective in pubs where nobody communicates), or you could end up with no stuns, or no carry, or all of the above (like in my last game).

Like I had to Brood + Clinkz lane and I got this idea : We were against meepo = spiders die to poofs and he has new magic resistance, making harass with spew spiders only semi-good. So, I leveled webs and passive for a bit (had maxed nuke by 7 or 8, hide those torches) and if it wasn't for SK who came in later, we'd just right-click meepo to death with little ways of escaping, forcing mana to be wasted on nets and not tranquil regen. Not top-tier, but hey, I was doing almost support-brood and I was fine, especially since 5 minutes was all it took for me to bit off half of hp of T2 (including eatin T1 ) tower. Brood is actually perfect for dewarding enemy sentries, given how she + spiders can easily overwhelm it quickly, there is indication of where Sentry, be it by your web layout or checking with spiders being seen by enemy creeps + when left alone you can still be useful by power-pushing. Her passive is actually massive against anyone, given how it's free Drow's slow + miss chance, at melee range , but given web's speed, regen and invis it's rather safe. Once again, not highly efficient or plausible to use in more organised enviroment, but makes you think. Support brood ? Semi-support brood ?
The other day I got a triplekill as CM because of Shadow Amulet. Right as DK starts his stun animation the invis is fully done. :v: [editline]7th June 2013[/editline] Also am I the only one who absolutely LOVES Leshrac's versatility? He can fill position 1, 5 and any in between. Duolane, Trilane, mid, roamer, ganker, whatever as long as it's not a sololane/jungle. A farmed Leshrac nukes harder than anybody else in the game if not focused down immediately and he can kill towers in 2 Edicts even without farm.
Leshrac as 1 is a loss if the enemy has an actual carry, once they get a BKB you're screwed
Leshrac as 1 is a loss if the enemy has an actual carry, once they get a BKB you're screwed
Yeah obviously any real carry will beat him but a farmed Leshrac is still extremely scary.
I just discovered that 'rare' lines are played by mashing left-click on your hero. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS
I just discovered that 'rare' lines are played by mashing left-click on your hero. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS
i don't click to get them, i remember them by memory then say them loudly in voice chat in a wobbly voice
I just discovered that 'rare' lines are played by mashing left-click on your hero. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS
You are not Warcraft III master-race. Half of the game was clicking units for flavour texts. Hell, there was unit that exploded if clicked-upon enough.
You are not Warcraft III master-race. Half of the game was clicking units for flavour texts. Man footmen were cool and now I'm sad because Blizzard will never make another warcraft rts.
Ah, I recall the classic "poke lines" system that RTS used to have; my first experience of that was Warcraft 2 and Starcraft (MEMORIIIIEEESSS), and the lines in Warcraft 3 were pretty cool too. I never played the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, which in turn was originally intended to be a Warhammer Fantasy RTS but was changed because Blizzard didn't have the license, but I remember that old classic "STOP POKING MEEEEE!" line that the Grunts had, which is actually the trope namer for that particular trope. And because of Warcraft, RTS nowadays can't be an RTS without poke lines on the units. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
He psyched you out bro, made you waste your buyback and your dosh for pitiful revenge.
I think we were going to lose anyway.
SK's mortal strike is really really strong. Big buff to him. I think it's pretty balanced too.
You are not Warcraft III master-race. Half of the game was clicking units for flavour texts. Is there anyway you can counter spirit breaker or do you just hope he doesn't bash.
Is there anyway you can counter spirit breaker or do you just hope he doesn't bash.
You gotta ward so you know when he charges, then stay close to the tower.
Is there anyway you can counter spirit breaker or do you just hope he doesn't bash.
Have more then one player on location to help you out Otherwise, just accept the bull dick you are about to recieve to thine fragile ass
Is there anyway you can counter spirit breaker or do you just hope he doesn't bash.
Linken procs when he tries to charge at you, just so you know.
Is there anyway you can counter spirit breaker or do you just hope he doesn't bash.
Ghost scepter or heavens halberd
Actually nevermind, as butthurt as I am from the bullshit breaker I just played against I got a rare drop after so 5 star game gg.
what is this it randomly downloaded something
Linken procs when he tries to charge at you, just so you know.
Spirit Breaker is scary way before anyone can farm up Linkin's But mainly just stick with other people. The way to beat Spirit Breaker is kind of just to not let him win the game. I mean, he's basically going to get a few kills earlygame. It's like Nightstalker. There's not much you can do about it. If you can come back from that disadvantage earlygame, you've basically beaten him because he falls off so hard lategame even when fed.
what is this it randomly downloaded something
Guides you've subscribed to most likely
Is there anyway you can counter spirit breaker or do you just hope he doesn't bash.
Wards and TP scrolls, once you see him charging you TP to base right away. Or just stick with your allies, it's a free kill for you if he's stupid enough to charge 2 guys.
Does magic immunity block his passive bash?
Does magic immunity block his passive bash?
Stops the damage, but the bash goes through. All bashes go through magic immunity.
ugh
If you think Spirit Breaker is scary wait til he gets his BKB. Then you'll REALLY feel sorry for yourself
It always feels like taking turns with SB. "You wreck me for 15-25 mins, then we'll wreck you the rest of the game"
what the fuck http://www.tf2trade.ru/ (nsfw, you wont find it pleasant)
Naga Siren is fun. Just played my first game with her. Whoever said she was like Cancer Lancer is talking complete shit.
