It's more of an Oglodi's way of "Hey, you wanna look badass? Take this ritual!!" -habit.
While most of them accept the ritual, some refuse it in case of Warlock for example.

Minimal damage amps on heroes are not really balance-changes, they are "sweeting up" the pickup for potential competetive players who read the notes and get a hunch to use him.
And 20% slow on Arc Lighniting is basically permaslow on everything, given how much that spell bounces. Even better, the 20% slow by itself would give Zeus little, as it's not enough of a slow to really work when you take into consideration stuff like counter-slows, stuns, leaps, etc.
He is simple, damage god.

Heartstopper will still eat through health. Huskar gets low enough and it'll just finish him off. 1+% HP/sec hurts.

I read somewhere that at certain age they go through a ritual that turns their skin red, warlock was an outcast so he didn't perform the ritual

It isn't a HUGE buff, but it certainly helps. Gotta love it when pudge tries to rot you at early game, and gets himself more poison.

If you mean how wide it is, then model fits with hitbox, or might even be bigger than hitbox.
If you mean length, yeah, it hits slightly past the hook tip.

His spells have low range too.
They should buff the range on W to 1000 on top of all the other things he needs.
