Enemy team randoms PL, Troll Warlord, Bane, Bounty Hunter and Windrunner. We get a Slardar and Puck picks, and random Lion, Sven and Luna. Teamfights were a clusterfuck of epic proportions with a bajillion kitties, 3 Nooooovas and 10 million billion glaives bouncing EVERYWHERE. We lost rax @ 25 or so without even taking a T2 tower so I thought we'd lost, luckily PL was a retard and got Manta after Diffusal so he simply melted between Sven's Cleave and my glaives.
Is it me or do I not understand the description for Plague Nova? It's basically saying that the Jidi Island is smaller than the ring that the Nova causes?
Would Linken's be a considerable item on Venomancer?

Considering he'd be a big target in a teamfight, you could say so.
Linken's is like the most situational item in the game.
It's got the times when it's the best item to get, another times it's only worth for the regen and stats.
(Example: Best to get it when Beastmaster gladly uses his ult on you every fucking fight.)

No.
Linken's blocks one spell every 30ish seconds, for something like 5200 gold.
What would it do to actually enable you to slither into the right position to use your spells, or slither away from a bad fight?
For 2500ish you could get a forcestaff. Fire yourself and forget.
For 2150 you could get a blink dagger. Point and click.
For 3000 you could get a Shadowblade. Vwish. In OR out!
For 3900 you could get a BKB. No magic, no problems.
Remember that you're probably going to die after you get your spells off. If you DON'T then the best thing you can do then is leave without dying.
Linken's is countered by the enemy having more than one crippling spell on hand. It is also countered by opposing force staves, eul's scepters, sheep sticks and rods of atos. Any of which might then be followed up with an actual silence, stun, nuke or bitch slap.
Fact is, you could nearly afford a Shadowblade AND a Blink Dagger for what it would take to get a Linken's. Think about it. Blink in, Nova, Gale, Shadow Blade. It's like playing Hitman, but you're a banana.
Veil on Veno/Zeus is the shit, always get it on them.

Well, it depends on the meta/players.
A good lycan can still dominate like a boss, I did it once with a naix on the enemy team.
Also Timbersaw is the most fun hero to play, had a nice game with him and as soon you get bloodstone(+maybe mythic staff) you can spam your abilties so neatly.

I had a Medoose game a while back, went pretty well.

At the 45 minute mark I hit level 25 while our Rubick was complaining that I was stretching out the game far too long. At that point I had manta, satanic, mjolnir, linkens, was turning my treads into travels and had 1 venom and 2 ultimate orbs in the stash.
Finished Skadi a while before we won and was contemplating what to spend the rest of my gold on before I noticed I was 6-slotted. Silly Rubick, stretching the game out too far doesn't mean anything if I'm helping in fights.

Level means absolutely nothing in terms of skill. Level really just means play time.
