i.e. SK, ES, Kotl, Gyro in one.
Probably the most easiest Heroes to deal bunch of damage in short time while also not having to know how to play.
that's adorable
well I guess there has to be the ways for the retarded to gain frags and victories as well, even tho they would deserve none

That's a huge pain in the ass. Everyone's gonna say "get bkb, get pipe" but by the time you do it's usually too late.
It's a drag they counterpicked you, otherwise you could've counterpicked them with Omni and Naix, maybe Rubick.
it's rather silly when kids try to aoestack because unless they have really good coordination they're just gonna fuck it up over and over and then you can kill them/push lanes while their wombo combo is down
Lost to some Facepunch stack that thinks I'm cute.
That wasn't a facepunch stack. I just stalk these forums when I'm bored and I recognized you. Friends weren't from facepunch. I played the Kunkka.

All i keep meeting is cancer lancer and warlock... with the teammates i usually get we have no chance.
I hate when people say that someone/a team 'doesn't deserve to win'. It's your fault you got outpicked/played, don't blame it on people 'stacking aoe' or the like, because you had as much chance to do that as the other team did.

I've personally never gotten the hang of gyro. Maybe I should try some bot matches
Why is it I get brutalized when I play with friends, but am a frag master when I solo queue?
I just played my first (real) game as Timbersaw.
Jesus Christ, he's brutal. You can't kill him, and he does craploads of magic damage late game too.
[editline]9th June 2013[/editline]
He's also one of the best solo off-laners I've ever played.

your friends are in a higher bracket?
Can Huskar be considered more of a "tank" then Axe now? I mean, gear Huskar up with a halberd and some armor and you've got yourself an almost unkillable hero.

Without a blink dagger the other team would pretty much have to be asleep to let you get off a good SK or ES ult...

To me he seems to be more-or-less in his element whilst in the lane near trees, since his Q deals Pure if it cuts down trees, and his W helps him escape by grabbing onto a tree, so staying near trees is a good idea for making the most of Timbersaw's capabilities.
Probably best to stay around the outer spread of trees in the sidelanes, though, since if someone tries to gank you from the jungle, you'll be on the other side of the road and have a few fractions of a second to react, as opposed to being right next to the jungle when someone pops out at random. It isn't as likely be ambushed from the outer spread, though on the midlane there are no safe outer spreads since mid is far from the map borders, and both sides of the forests bordering midlane can be snuck into and jumped out of, so hugging the treeline on mid as Timbersaw isn't as safe as say Treant who has his camouflage ability.
Also, concerning Treant, would having his camouflage be passive on him be OP? The way I'd imagine this retooling would be similar to how Mortal Strike functions; it works as a passive be default, but can be activated to put on an ally, which puts it on cooldown and disables the passive effect on Treant.

This is why I love the adorable loon. He can deal a shit ton of damage crazy fast and if played well he's incredibly hard to kill.

Actually, it's more effective to not hug trees as Timber, it's better to be in range of the tree for timberchain but a quite a bit away so you can hit things when you go hurtling past. His timberchain is not an escape; sure it can be used as one, but it's a crazy good nuke and sets him up prefectly for his Q.
[editline]10th June 2013[/editline]
Also, Timber and NP make a great combo, since he can make trees right where you need them to be to deal maximum damage.

That would be horrendously overpowered, it would be like riki got treeant's tool set. But even more overpowered than that because Treant can perform actions while invis.
That's kinda ironic if you think about it; the antithesis of Timbersaw is a character that can synergize well with his tree-dependant playstyle. And when Rizzrack finds that out, he'd probably either freak out or be "Even though I hate you, you're actually kinda handy. God I can't believe I actually said that..."
Still, would the tweaking of Treant's camouflage ability work well on paper?
your friends are in a higher bracket?
Makes sense

Quite true. But they do work amazingly well together; as a ganking team they are unstoppable.

Not even on paper. Not unless it got seriously reworked from what it does now.

they must have changed it
It used to hit courier.
My team won 2 games by microing me
only one counted as an abandon
Fucking internet has been acting like shit all day, the connection itself keeps ending every 2~ hours.
I am connected via the network, I just don't have internet connection. Rather annoying.
I'm actually amazed at how nice both teams were in both games. They paused around 10 minutes in each(one game had a dickbag, but w/e.)
Our PA in the 2nd game was like "WE WILL NOT LET THIS MAN GET AN ABANDON. HE DID GREAT." and won by microing me, in less than 4 minutes.
They won the other game too, just my abandon went through. It feels good to know that there are nice people out there. I'm gonna stay away from dota until my internet stops tho.
No Stats abandon timer should be increased to 15 or 20
10 is WAY too short.
Pretty sure the no stats abandon happens if the person who abandons disconnects before first blood happens.
If that's true, that's an even worse system. But since first blood can happen 2mins into the game (not likely but technically possible) I don't think that's actually how it works.
Pretty sure the no stats abandon happens if the person who abandons disconnects before first blood happens.
I love when people random, don't like the hero, then abandon. Shits awesome after spending 6 mins a q cause someone autodeclined 4 times in a row.
The most frustrating thing is when people waste time and miss experience by waiting so fucking long to a hero for any reason. Just fucking pick a hero that makes sense balance-wise instead of waiting time trying to find the perfect counter to x enemy hero or because you can't find the perfect hero you like. It's so annoying to find that two whole minutes into the game someone has just picked an incredibly level dependent hero or a hero that fits a very specific role like jungling or mid laning only to have them shoehorned into a different position or playstyle or situation due to their underleveledness to compensate for their delay in picking a hero.
