I was hoping my Ugly Mug for Bristleback would have made it in. :suicide:
It looks fine and has been executed well. Opinions mate, people liked it enough for it to make it's way through workshop, unitary points of view matter little here. It doesn't break the mood or style, should be noticeable in-game, opens up ideas for future cosmetics and got positive results on Workshop, what else do you need ?
Meh, it'll probably look better ingame where I won't have to look at it so close. :v:
My only problem with it is that it literally replaces his shell, which I assume to be a part of Bristleback's body. I haven't bothered to view it in the model viewer so I'm not sure if it's shaped like the shell is still there.
Now that's an argument. We'll have to get some info on that, it would be rather offsetting if he suddenly lost 1/3 in thickness/size because of shirt.

I haven't bothered to view it in the model viewer so I'm not sure if it's shaped like the shell is still there. I think people are complaining about it just because it's made by that Vladimir guy who nobody seems to like. (but for a good reason) Bear in mind that the Ursa set was made by Svdl and Sparkwire, and they are as close to professional as possible; it didn't stop them from making a bad set of items and Vladimir's personality doesn't stop him from making good items.
the item doesn't replace his shell, it sits over it (and even has cut outs in it for spikes)
The cut-outs are really low res too, I don't like that. Would be awesome if the cut-outs matched up with his spikes.
it'd be better if the back of the shirt was just torn open imo.
The cut-outs are really low res too, I don't like that. Would be awesome if the cut-outs matched up with his spikes.
like you can even see them ingame
like you can even see them ingame
you can't [t]http://i.imgur.com/PiciQdn.jpg[/t] In-game it looks fine, although maybe the back could be a little darker.
The cut-outs are really low res too, I don't like that. Would be awesome if the cut-outs matched up with his spikes.
Since his spikes move about that would be too much trouble rigging the spikes to the holes to make sure there's no clipping.
I got a rapier as PA the other day. 3033 crit teamwipes every day.
Vlads is best Carry Tiny luxury item. Tiny has 300 base damage at level 16, and Vlads gives you 45+. It rocks.
played sk i like him
played sk i like him
I played SK too, I got a sick Epicenter going. They couldn't kill me because I reincarnated and slammed again.
Ask for wards, no one replies. Die in woods with anti mage because blink is on cooldown and stunner came out of the dark as soon as I blinked. Said we need wards > wards wont save you, 0 reactions. Tell them how it is and ask them to shut the fuck up if they don't know how it happened before blaming, and asked for some wards again. Get told I am reported Muted next game Cool shit yo, dota justice right?

I get told i'm reported by this single Warlock on the enemy team. Next game comm banned for 2 days.
Friendly reminder : Valve's posted on the Dota 2 Blog about the communication system and how it's actually working well. Even more so, they've recently updated Dota 2 so that if your report results in someone being muted, you get +1 report to use. So unless you really believe you are one of the unitary odd-players that got served by the broken part of the system, please avoid bringing it up or at least clarify why you don't deserve it, especially since if you are marked by a report, the analysis your account undergoes goes back to previous games, so being nice in a particular game/games doesn't absolve no sins.

THERE IS NO WAY THE PLAYER IS WRONG THE SYSTEM MUST BE FLAWED. WHAT DO YOU MEAN CALLING SOMEONE A FUCKING RETARDED FAGGOTNOOB IS OFFENSIVE?
Dagon is the best item, ever. [editline]1[/editline] What's with the chain of shit posting all of a sudden?
NO WAY THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE SYSTEM SAY ITS GOODA
They post about the data they got after implementation of the system. How muted players actually did notice the limitation and big percentage of them went on to improve and how arbitrary reports with no claims behind them are unlikely to succeed due to background checks being thourough, as long as report meets the qualities (detailed / based on actual experience and not from outside of the game / etc)
how often does dotabuff refresh games played etc?
how often does dotabuff refresh games played etc?
I think it's related to match length. Whenever I do 30 min games its a minute or so but when I have 70 min games it's more like 10 minutes before it updates.
Sorry but to think the communication system is perfect is to be fucking blind.
Sorry but to think the communication system is perfect is to be fucking blind.
Nobody thinks it's perfect, but it is very annoying when so many people who clearly did something report-worthy at one point come up with their stories of how they got muted for saying "dark seer is ugly"
Nobody thinks it's perfect, but it is very annoying when so many people who clearly did something report-worthy at one point come up with their stories of how they got muted for saying "dark seer is ugly"
Still you can trick the system since is not perfect 100% of the time. Errors can happen and will happen. But yeah I agree most of the time people is VERY blind to the truth when it comes to communication bans.
I haven't played in a while but i think I'm gonna try again, just picked up spirit breaker and I wondered what my previous games have been and I am surprised that I won all.
Sorry but to think the communication system is perfect is to be fucking blind.
I didn't use the word perfect. I mentioned it working to a satisfactory degree for it's creators, with data showing it's success in terms of improving the community and how they are working on limiting the room for erroneous punishments. It still requires work, like Veno's model or Meepo's bugfixes, but it's working and if you happen to be affected by it I'd first recommend taking a step back and judging your own level of communication and cooperation, making sure it's spotless and only then complaining about it's ineffectiveness. Dota's community has always been the biggest flaw of the game in the opinions of many, including mine. Any and all actions towards improving it, parts of percentage by parts of percentage, are worth a shot if you ask me, so little bumps on the road are fine (those bumps being unjust mutes/lowpriority) and everyone has right to argue about the bumpy road, however make sure you ain't the reason it's bumpy first and make sure you are not just complaining for the sake of it, or otherwise you are just annoying the driver.
(i have no clue what i should be building)
i dont think hes not saying the report system isnt flawed hes saying hes sick of people complaining about it every other page [editline]13th June 2013[/editline]
however make sure you ain't the reason it's bumpy first and make sure you are not just complaining for the sake of it, or otherwise you are just annoying the driver.
whoops you got to it first
