I wanna play more initiators (because is my favorite role) and I been looking at Sand King for a long time, but looking at Sand Storm and Caustic Finale makes me question this: If I lane with someone I should not take caustic and favor sandstorm?
take caustic finale to push and take an early tower if you want but sandstorm is better because you can burrow then immediately sandstorm and if your teammate chains a stun, the enemy will be finished even quicker
also sandstorm can be used as an escape
you can also sandstorm into burrow to try to sneak up a bit using the small invis time after

Last night I had a game where our PL couldn't lasthit for shit and was clinically retarded (Manta -> Chrystalys -> Radiance IN THAT ORDER), our Necrolyte was feeding Invoker on mid and our last guy was afk for a few minutes, spawned, took Gyro, first hung around mid yelling at Necro for a few minutes before finally playing some sort of weird-ass roamer Gyro. Our Earthshaker called gg about 10 minutes in, while I said we'd be alright as I was timbersaw and that I was doing decently. Fast forward half an hour and we've won because of some bitchin' teamwork between Necro/ES/me.

Depends on who your with in lane. Imo SK should go hardlane and go 3/1/1 unless the enemy has a melee hero there who NEEDS to come close/farm, then max caustic and blow the fucker out of the lane.

sandstorm has always been a bit of a one-point wonder, and now that it gives the full 1.5 seconds of invis upon exiting at all levels that's even more true
max out burrow, then you can max caustic if you're laning against a melee hero because it utterly shuts them down
this is also why sand king mid is the strongest pudge counter

please don't max or even get caustic at all in the laning phase if you're with a carry, it pushes the lane to fuck and makes it impossible to lasthit. If you're SK mid, sure, go ahead.
Been playing a bit of morphling, he's really fun, also the buffs on necrolyte are amazing. Just by making his ulti give necro kills he's become ALOT stronger, especially in pubs.

it only pushes the lane if you are hitting enemy creeps for some reason. restrain yourself from doing so and you'll be fine!

Shotgun morph isnt dead. Literally 99% of the matches I've had with a Morph they build him that way.
On another note, holy shit new Huskar is fun. Absolute asshole in the laning phase with spears and once you max his passive that 94% resist is hilarious. I was farming a lane when QoP decided she would jump on me since I had 150 hp left. I took a total of 56 damage from scream and her ult. :v:

SK is the single strongest anti-pudge hero as not only will Pudge get shit on if he stays, if he ganks he's gonna lose the tower real fucking fast. Even if you get Hooked, Burrowstrike has no cast delay so you stun right out of it.

Every time I play clockwerk I end up playing multiple games with him because hes so fucking fun. I kinda understand how other people can end up doing it for days
I would play Bristleback every match if I got the chance to do so.
