Just played against a guy whose name was basically Tidebringer but he used a bunch of weird characters to spell it. Looked at his match history. Seven and a half straight pages of nothing but Kunkka I don't know how people manage to do this.
Everybody has a hero they enjoy so much they'd play him every game if viable
why do bounty hunters throw games with rapiers all the time
why do bounty hunters throw games with rapiers all the time
It helps in farming heroes
tried playing a game as a support for the first time picked witch doctor and destroyed shit it was good
tried playing a game as a support for the first time picked witch doctor and destroyed shit it was good
Witch Doctor is "Glass Cannon" personified. Squishy as all hell, almost as squishy as Crystal Maiden, but good fucking LORD he wrecks shit with Maledict/Death Ward.
it only pushes the lane if you are hitting enemy creeps for some reason. restrain yourself from doing so and you'll be fine!
First off if you're not hitting enemy creeps then the skill is doing nothing, so put points into Sandstorm instead. Second, what if you actually want to get a last hit or two since your carry probably won't get every single one and wards/drums/whatever aren't free? Unless you have a specific strategy that hinges on getting Caustic, save it for later pushes.
Can I find the full art of this anywhere?
http://i.imgur.com/vIDjNSJ.jpg
The concept of a glass cannon originally came from a person though?
I doubt it's of recent origin. At very least it came from way back into the RPGs, like paper-based ones. And given how WD can heal himself and stun people, he aint that much of a glass cannon. His ultimate is one of the most powerful in the game, but : it requires close proximity between enemy heroes + hitting initially a hero that will allow it to bounce + channeled + physical damage (Omniknight says "hi"). I for one after witnessing recent CM ults favour this one, since beyond the damage it also provides huge attack speed and movement speed slow. Sure, Death Ward can earn it's name if played well and CM's ult needs a bit more kick (like Veil ?) but at least it's some utility. Not to shit on Zharvakko of course, he be one bitchin' doctah.
http://i.imgur.com/vIDjNSJ.jpg
Thanks!
Given the current rate of things, I'd say that it's more than just likely. But fine, corrected.
fucking HELL A FREE COPY OF DOTA 2 DIRECT ME TO THE NEAREST NEWSAGENTS SO I CAN BUY 15

When not focused however, that ult WRECKS. CM's ult does too, but is far harder to pull off successfully.

Reason for that is not because supports are glass cannons but because they carry weight in spells, be it big ults or disables.

Unless you have a specific strategy that hinges on getting Caustic, save it for later pushes.
Remember you're only getting it at level 8, after maxing Burrow with a single point in Sandstorm and Epicentre. At this point you are likely looking to push towers, your carry is already pushing the lane slightly with their higher damage and the laning phase is starting to come to an end so you will have more of a presence on the map anyway. What is maxing Sandstorm going to do for you? The main use of the skill is the escape and disjointing properties. Using it to push is dangerous because you're blowing your high-cooldown escape skill and Caustic does more damage to a wave anyway.
There are very few supports who are not squishy. Omniknight is the opposite, won't deal much damage unless he hits PYOURIFIKAASHYUN but the bastard is tanky as all hell. And then ofcourse there's Ogre "Pure Skill" Magi with random-ass 1000 damage and a fucking 3.2 STR gain. :v:
Treant is an amazing Tank Support. He can just charge past a tower punching people as early as level 3 and just not give a single shit.
pic and words
I find I can never get kills with her, but I can be the biggest prick and continuously split push without having any chance of death.
What are some tips to wreck with morphling? I wasn't here for the Shotgun Morphling™ (RIP), and want to know how emulate that a little.
Shotgun Morphling just doesn't even work anymore, you need to stack stats as him and that's all he needs Treads, possibly a Drum, Manta, Linken's is situational in my opinion - only get it if there really are single target spell threats, Skadi, Butterfly. Eth Blade is still good on him just dont expect to go linkens eth blade and instagib everyone, and compared to Butterfly Ethereal Blade is incredibly inferior, 1100 gold more will give you +23 damage and attack speed plus 35% evasion which gives you the right clicking upper hand while still being able to right click yourself. If you actually farm these items up you can go full agility and have 350+ base damage, while still having more hit points than any non-tanky hero You can build items in different orders depending on how the game is going, just always make sure to get manta as your first core item and never Skadi first. [editline]15th June 2013[/editline]
sandstorm has always been a bit of a one-point wonder, and now that it gives the full 1.5 seconds of invis upon exiting at all levels that's even more true max out burrow, then you can max caustic if you're laning against a melee hero because it utterly shuts them down this is also why sand king mid is the strongest pudge counter
Sand King with a friend that has a stun is the most painful dual lane a melee hero can counter, even if he's in the safe lane [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] also i think the sandstorm buff was actually an indirect buff to caustic finale, now that you can just level sandstorm once and juke just as well/channel three quarters of your ult, you can now max caustic finale earlier. God damn Caustic Finale is fucking brutal, it is such a good skill
Shotgun morph has been weak ever since they increased his mana cost on morph by 50%. Build Morph the way you'd build Medusa and you'll do great.
Windrunner best hero getting closer to 100 games with her
I hate windrunner with a burning passion.
you probably just played against a good windrunner then lol, try her out yourself
Is Necrolyte a support or not? I'm very confused
no
Is Necrolyte a support or not? I'm very confused
He's a support with potential to carry. He can't 1v5 a team, but in a 5v5 teamfight, a fed/farmed necrolyte makes a huge difference.
Is Necrolyte a support or not? I'm very confused
He's a utility hero, he needs some farm to get items that make him tanky, he needs to last during teamfights to dipense death pulses, hurt enemies with aids aura and secure kills with scythe
Is Necrolyte a support or not? I'm very confused
necro should be getting farm,
So i just god disconnected a lot with the message "no steam logon". I recconected tons of times trying to see if it will stop,i even restarted Dota 2 and it still happened. because i was muted by some feeders last game i couldn't tell anyone and now i have 1 abandon.
Asians give him a ton of farm and I agree with that, although he doesn't have to be the main carry, he works really well with another carry because then it makes it harder to focus him down
he should be a 'semi-carry' main carry is overestimating him a bit, since he gets utility items, after he ults and such, he's just using autoattacks and q coupled with an actual carry, youll basically just win teamfights every time
