They already added single items that are not crate fodder into the store. Feathered Nagitasomething, that Blood DK Sword, the Trolltooth Necklace, Owl Bow for Drow.
Usually they don't sell well tho.

only the Owl Bow and Feathered Whatever are on the shop, the rest are not. The Elder Shield, Trolltooth Necklace and Blood sword are drop system only, which is weird because the DK items are both community made.

in the game that followed the friend played magnus
I have the same problem but with my friend playing Batrider and building vanguard all the time as his first item after boots.

I don't see any reason why BKB would be legit bad on antimage, he has an escape but of course he wants to stay in battle as long as possible.
BKB is not a cut and dry type of item, it can be applied to almost any hero in the game (lol not Lifestealer) in certain cases. I.e you don't want to get insta-stunned in every fight.

They said to me "Don't worry about AM, he doesn't even have a battlefury yet," when I said we need to go stop his free farm. Holy fucking shit that was one of the most infuriating teams ever fuck you for having fun Inacio you cunt

Getting BKB on Anti-Mage is like getting BKB on the new Huskar: you only get it if you [i]really[/i] need it. It's like if the enemy team had a team that only did massive amounts of disables or pure damage (like Timbersaw). I've yet to play a game where I've really needed a BKB, mainly because I usually never pick an Anti-Mage against a team with mass disables.
If you have to build BKB on Anti-Mage, then you've just plainly picked a bad hero against the enemy team lineup (or you firstpicked and got counter-picked).
So, it still seems you misread what I said. I said it's not recommended, at all. Getting it on him is not a good idea on him like how getting lifesteal on Lifestealer isn't. It's not that it doesn't work - it does - it's just that it's EXTREMELY situational because the hero is built around you not having to spend that gold so you can get other items on him (like all steroids).
