I will probably build Abaddon the same way I build Dirge; Basilius > Mana Boots > Mek/Hood > Vlads/Pipe > Halberd/AC/Vlads/Sheepstick. Both are very aggressive melee supports so it should work.
Soul Ring could also be really nice on him since he has a mad strength gain. Orb of Venom could also be good even if you aren't willing to sacrifice points from your better skills (don't hurt me) to get your passive.
I've also heard you can carry with him, but I wouldn't recommend going past semi-carry.
In pubs almost every Hero can carry a game. Unless very high skill bracket because then there are usually players who can outcarry a semicarry with a hypercarry, which is the way it should be

Can you tell I'm having a bad night of Dota?
[SP]I'm actually doing it, someone please help.[/sp]
I have an irl friend who plays this. I play with him, he plays Dota with me.
Generally LoL is fun with your friends, especially ARAM (then again what isn't fun with friends?)
Well, having a BKB right after your farming item (Battlefury or Mjollnir) is usually suggested, it will save your ass in more than a handful of situations allowing you to farm more freely, and it does have a nice small damage buff of it's own. But Faceless doesn't always need one, and if you don't need it right away, don't get it; more DPS is always good.
And usually on Faceless you want to get either Battlefury or Mjollnir, because they're both farming items and other things like Butterfly or Daedalus are much more effective on him. It's not particularly bad to get both on him, but it does hinder you later in the game.
But what good is Faceless Void without attack speed?
But what good is Faceless Void without attack speed?
farm up butterfly I guess

Mjollnir is still ridiculously good DPS, and the Battlefury damage is very respectable for the cost and the regen/cleave it offers

Mutual masturbation?
(I have ugly friends.)
I actually tried to get into it because my nephew plays it (even though I introduced him to Dota 2 first), but I was immediately put off by the way middle mouse button camera dragging works. Seriously, it works backwards. :v: I've looked around and it looks like there's no way to change it and the developers don't give a shit either. Amazing.
Also I only got it to run twice. After that, it would just keep freezing on startup. I think my computer is trying to tell me something.
You can turn the camera lock off, and the camera will scroll just like in dota.
I remember watching a video of some league commentator fucking, exploding at a huge play, maybe LoL works differently, but all that happened was some guy attacked someone for a bit and walked away.
To be fair, an Enigma blinking in and casting Black Hole to trap whole enemy team is generally speaking considered to be a big play, even though he clicks on blink hotkey-> shift + R.
i am doing a maximum dota experiment
we need 7 people to queue for south africa, captain mode, russian in soloqueue mode
I get to roleplay as invoker in chat. "like a match already dim and damp, your team snuffs out" gets some fun reactions from league players!
Whenever my team wants to go dual lane top, I usually say "fuck that shitty dota meta, get jungler faggot"

you know how empower gives the blue aura around the person with the buff's hands
on timbersaw it actually puts it on his tiny little hands instead of his suit's hands
it made me giggle when I noticed
It's set to apply directly to a specific bone, the bone varies from model to model and we all know that Valve is quite unconsistent with all kind of stuff, so the Empower is actually "misplaced" on many heroes, but in the end, it's just Valve's coding that does it, and they're too lazy to make exceptions for some heroes. (On Night Stalker it shows on his hands and the top of his wings)

I tried League in 2010 because of a friend, played 3 games and never touched it again
A few weeks ago i got an email with a promotion for the upcoming south american server, "oh free stuff I should try it and see why is it so bad"
So yeah I'm putting the excuse of wanting to see for myself if it's that bad and wanting to try more games of the "genre", but I have yet to bother downloading :v:

Why do you have arcane boots before soul ring on bane?
I assume that was a force staff
I don't always go Soul Ring on support bane because I'd rather get Arcane Boots faster to give the team mana as well
Why do you have arcane boots before soul ring on bane?
because my team needs mana

If you rush a soul ring you will be able to help in ganks much more and you can make the enemies laning life a living hell with brain-sap.
Even if your team needs mana, you can get your arcane boots up much faster if you're helping in kills.

if i really need to explain it, I only really needed enough for two spells, which i had, as i was laned with a kunkka so we had nightmare/torrent/brainsap going, but on the contrary we were constantly getting dived, ganked and raided so i was behind all the time. I had a couple clarities from the start and was falling behind so i bought tranquil boots for some extra move speed knowing i could disassemble it into a force staff, because by the time i got around to getting one it was pretty much too late. we managed to get a four down in a teamfight so we got a massive burst of gold so i immediately bought arcanes because i had 1000 gold on me

Anyways I spoke too soon, I went Mirana mid and got absolutely shat on mid but we destroyed them nonetheless
