lol, most popular timber build on dotabuff is skipping his passive early on...
Haha, no.
Have you guys been having huge lag spikes?

And? Completely viable. Gives loads more pure dps while level 1 passive will keep you alive even in an offlane

Uh, they don't get ANY POINTS IN PASSIVE until level 10.
that 0 armor timber, oh boy

Unless you are being harassed non stop then it's ok to skip it or level 1 point in it, just like DK.

one point gives you a free ring of health if you take 4 creep hits
Timbersaw's actives are much better than his passive early game.
1 point in passive lets you towerdive and trade rightclicks with whoever is in lane and be fine. You rightclick the person in the back then stop, so the ranged creep focuses you, making you get full armor/hp regen up. It makes you a bitch to kill if solo offlane.
That doesn't mean you should prioritize it over better abilities.
Should you get Flesh Heap on Pudge because it increases your magic resistance if you're laning against a nuker?
1 point in it is all you need....otherwise timber has shit base armor and dies really fast. Yes his other skills are more useful on people, but 4 hp regen and 4 armor is pretty good. This allows you to be REALLY agressive and constantly keep the enemy pressured.
That's like saying you should skip dragon blood on DK, because his nuke and stun do more to the enemy.
I recommend you watch Purge play timber, he shows you why reactive armor is great in lane. Too lazy to find videos, but one point in reactive armor is needed early. I never said max it out. Pudge's 4 magic resistance won't do much in lane, and the STR gain won't do much either unless if you got an early kill.
Stout shield + Reactive on timber makes him unable to be harassed out of lane unless if they have sheer burst damage.
That doesn't mean you should prioritize it over better abilities. One point would be a great idea if you're soloing but not really necessary in a dual lane.
and guess what timber should be doing most of the time, soloing :v:
If they are harassing you with autoattack and you got a stout shield and a point in passive you can laugh at them, also trade hits
"Your harass only makes my armor harder!"

Anyone else just give up
Having low armor doesn't mean you're going to die and lose your lane, if you position and play properly you won't even notice it.
Also why are you comparing damage dealing to survivability?
Except he's a fucking melee hero, he needs a few last hits for his mana boots, that means at one point you need to go close to the creepwave instead of standing on the edge of the exp range, also keep in mind there are ranged heroes with a range of 600 units, and again your armor fucking sucks, so why not compliment that nice stout shield you got with ONE point in a passive that softens that damage and gives you regen?
not sure how my team managed to get matched up against a team where their 1 player had less farm than our 5

was a very unbalanced slaughter that i don't understand why valve let this happen
well you were playing the most banned/picked hero of the current metagame
I have quite the problem: One of my best friend from the university plays dota but he is the biggest shittalker I ever face which is funny because he is a real nice and chill person in real life.
I can't find a way to telling him I do not want to play with him if he keeps throwing shit for both sides.
Low priority is dumb as I constantly get it due to their game being optimised so poorly
I just tried Dotabuff and it looks wonderful but I keep getting "Not Found" when I try to update my game history :c

Did you turned on the "allow third party websites to gather data" on Dota 2? its off by default
Unless you are being harassed non stop then it's ok to skip it or level 1 point in it, just like DK.
I always max passive as DK, always. All you need early on is the passive and stun to guarantee a kill.

what about Fire Breath
Is anyone else seeming to get lifestealers on either their team or the enemy team every game?
idk about you guys but I'd like a bit more variety in carries every game. He's almost a constant, it's somewhat dull.
You know, my friend made a good point.
Everyone always used to say (Not here that I can recall though.) that Bristleback was constantly picked and banned in competitive play in Dota 1. What happened to him?

It worked somehow

Viscous Nasal Goo was ridiculously OP at that point in time and nobody could lane against anyone with a bristleback

I think he looks better with more facial hair.
I think he looks better with more facial hair.
Yea, it really adds to his general personality.
His eye color combined with his nose and mouth shape create a perfect shape for facial hair, allowing for an overall better look and makes his monotone voice sound way more darling.
