He's called Furion because hes based off the model of Malfurion the Druid from Warcraft 3, you know the game that Dota started from.
You can really see the resemblance of pretty much every Dota 2 hero compared to their Warcraft 3 counterpart. Invoker is almost 100% the same.
I find Omniknight/Treant/Luna/Venge to be almost direct copies as well.
Unrelated: Am I the only one who finds the Global Silence sound to be one of the most awesome sounds in the game? It's not my favorite, that would be a successful Culling Blade, but it's definitely the one that sends the most/biggest chills down my spine. And on the opposite end is Riki's rightclick sound, good god that grinds my gears. :v:

Some look like a direct visual upgrade like Invoker, and others look nothing like how they used to. Bloodseeker and Void ha
And this is why we call some heroes by their title - Nature's Prophet, Queen of Pain, Shadow Demon, Sand King, etc etc and other heroes by their names - Lina, Lion, Sven, Kunkka, Pudge, Zeus, etc etc
I disagree entierly. I like Timbersaw way better than Goblin Shredder, makes it seem less like a generic title. I mean they obviously don't want to do those sort of naming titles any more as "Clockwerk Goblin" is now Clockwerk and "Dwarven Sniper" is now just Sniper.

All of silencers skills sound awesome. I love TA's sound effects as well, mainly her attack even. Oh and Soul Assumption sounds fucking wicked, as does Finger of Death

I'd be hoping for a better "Silence!" for some reason, the current one sounds so underwhelming.

Due to the fact they changed the scaling of it, and they had people like Storm Spirit and Treant who are completelyed ruined by running out of mana, I would've maxed Mana Burn over Spiked Carapace, but that's just me. Also, you should get an Urn before Dagon, maybe even a Blink Dagger.

Support nyx without an urn, 1 deny, if you were laning against riki shoulda helped out more.
With 2 invis heroes on the other side not one of the 2 supports bought dust.
Also your team was on the backfoot and you were still trying to build a dagon instead of some drums for survivablity.
But it looks to me like you you fed Spirit breaker, riki and lost mid to storm spirit hard.

Blizz has arbitrary copyright "claims" to alot of names that are just fucking stupid to have copyrights for.
Malfurion? This make sense, thats a name, name.
Doom Bringer? Sure it's a race/faction in WC lore but that's a pretty grey area.
Outworld Devourer? How the fuck. Blizz should sue Netherrealms while they are at it for having an Outworld.
It's fucking stupid to be able to claim generic fantasy fluff as copyrighted material unless you actually come up with the name instead of mashing adjectives and nouns together.

Blizzard are just butthurt they didn't think of making dota 2 first so they just try and makes things as difficult as possible.
