tl;dr: you're bad at DOTA
Shadow fiend can get retardedly high damage in a short amount of time with his passive. If he gets a good amount of last hits early, it becomes really hard to out deny/last hit him. It's perfectly reasonable for a lion to lose against a shadow fiend because shadowfiend's raze and passive make him do a stupid amount of damage really quickly.

Then you're fucked.
nah, most shadow fiends i have played with/against know how to use shadowraze properly
it isnt that hard after you play him like 4 times
it isnt that hard after you play him like 4 times
You underestimate the average pubfiend. I've seen them lose mid to fucking Omniknight.
one time i saw a shadow fiend say "this round i make rampage" then he lost mid to sniper [editline]21st June 2013[/editline] he didn't make a rampage

If after the first 2 creep waves he has more lh/dn than you it's because he's a better player than you and you deserved to lose that one; because he was better.
You underestimate the average pubfiend. I've seen them lose mid to fucking Omniknight.
mid omniknight is fuckin legit dude. Infinite sustain.
You underestimate the average pubfiend. I've seen them lose mid to fucking Omniknight.
Omniknight is one of the best mids in the game. :|
Omniknight vs Pudge mid lane is hilarious.
Strange that you'd say that, since he's very much Lane Support with his heal and free BKB. In terms of staying in-lane he'd definitely last longer if he gets Soul Ring (core on him), but I dunno if he's all that good at last hitting, being that his attack point is .433 seconds, in comparison to someone like Anti-Mage or Dazzle, who's attack point is .3 seconds. A quick-hitting attack point is usually what's important for last-hitting and farming.
Early warning for: - Update - DOTA 2 (MAIN CLIENT) - 6/20/13 5:38 PM CDT - http://steamdb.info/app/580/#section_history
Hats?!

EDIT: Nevermind, I thought they were readying themselves for releasing this to the public. Rate me bad reading or something.
Dedicated servers are one step further to mod support, I'm liking this.
DSes have existed for both the MC and the TC for a while now, hence all of these early warnings :v:
DSes have existed for both the MC and the TC for a while now, hence all of these early warnings :v:
But it means that you could search for servers with mods in Dota 2 itself, instead of being limited solely to external sites and people sharing server IPs. More publicity for them I hope, which means more players, which is good.
What? These updates mean nothing about dedicated servers or their availability to the public.
Oh snap, my bad. Didn't look thoroughly enough.
A good omni's ability to constantly escape death gets really annoying.
tl;dr: you're bad at DOTA
Before you dumb this post, ask yourself this: "Should I fail at denying against the guy with the 2nd lowest base damage, right over Techies?" "Should I fail at seeing incoming ganks with high ground on both sides?"
Shadow fiend can get retardedly high damage in a short amount of time with his passive. Lions base damage is far above Fiends. Shadow raze wont deal a whole lot of damage until Fiend is level 6. [editline]21st June 2013[/editline]
A good omni's ability to constantly escape death gets really annoying.
And when you finally thought he's gonna die you instantly feel the wrath of 360 pure damage.
When someone gets ganked cause I failed to call missing "Holy shit call missing from your fucking lane, you see someone missing so call it, goddamn" When I get ganked cause they failed to call missing "Are you retarded, you have a minimap, fucking look at it"
15-20 minutes into the game, pretty much everyone is done laning and is roaming/dicking around That one guy who is still in lane "OMG CALL MISSING YOU RETARDS!" [editline]20th June 2013[/editline]
A good omni's ability to constantly escape death gets really annoying.
Try treant during the first 15 mintues of the game "oh you want to kill my buddy? too bad I'm gonna heal and block the next 6 hits" and then that guy enters the fog while everyone who attempted to gank it is cursing

None shall die.
Treant + Omni in the same lane. None shall die.
and if Omni gets a scepter no tower shall die either ;)
Kotl Omni lane, infinite mana for infinite heals.
Omniknight is one of the best mids in the game. :|
yea, I love all the pros that use him mid since he's so good mid right guys?

You know since the update I've never seen anyone build scepter on doom. I tried it once and got moaned at by my team because they thought I was doing divine courage.
Omni Scepter is truly a thing to behold.
Got stomped by really angry ally barathrum while in top lane, gave a pot to him and send "chill out man". Kinda work for the rest of match. Guess when people are hungry they really get that mad.
