I played support Drow on SD yesterday with Nma and SoulChicken.
It actually worked, Drow doesn't need a lot of items to hit hard.
Damn last 2 games for me have been..

He isn't reliant on items at all though, he only needs some mana and he's set up well.
After Arcane Boots you can go whatever you want basically, but support-ish items should work the best on him.
Mid-late game you're supposed to stand in the middle of fights, after you ult if they're still alive you play like an undying without his Q

That's the impression I'm getting, an Undying copy. In other words, while he's fully capable of being a major threat without items he scales incredibly well with some items like Shiva's/AC.

We had Kunkka and Gyro who both have some mana problems.
Also, how exactly does Clockwerk counter Titan? His cast point is lower than 0.7 so it isn't Leshrac/Shaker way of being countered by Clock
