This is a really bad build. Imo Q first on zeus is fucking AMAZING in lane. Your auto attack is fucking awful, so you can use your Q to not only get easy last hits, but to also harass the enemy hero in lane. Amazing. While you're doing this you can level your W and suddenly you do massive fucking damage and can swoop down for the kill on your already harassed enemy. Just buy lots of clarities.
I will agreed that skipping Q completely until 7 is a really bad idea (on top of delaying level 4 lightning..) but Q at level 2 is good enough since it deals the same damage for mana ratio as W and doesn't push. Also using Q to last hit is retarded because you waste mana, use all your mana on spamming lightning and then farm safely with your pitiful autoattacks when he's hugging tower or running towards fountain. [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
imo you can buy double boots on Ursa (both Tranquils and Phase Boots) and its justified
Or just get tranqs, disassemble when you get Vlads, then make Phase?

Though I'm no Ursa master, it worked pretty well the few times I played him.
If I had dosh I'd buy you a custom title that says "no fun allowed bot"
Everything must be proper and unfun. [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
Higher base move speed.
I still feel like it'd be a better idea to have that 1k go towards earlier vlads or blink, but I can see it working in some cases.
imo you can buy double boots on Ursa (both Tranquils and Phase Boots) and its justified
I saw a pro game where lifestealer got phase, than travel later game and sold the phase a bit after that
Won 6 games in a row and got stomped in another. Worthy tribute.
This. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=138389299 Increasing the damage of two Agh-upgraded Zeus ults by 25% is definitely worth it, especially if you land Veil's active on the entire enemy team.
why would you save Q for 7 when it is one of the best laning phase spells in the game just get 3 branch+tango, if you arent bad at timing with the Q you can get your bottle much earlier than you will run out of mana, and even if you do just go for 1 or 2 AA last hits and you should have the bottle after that its hardly a "big waste of mana", even if you cant get runes just get a bottle crow because every bottle charge is 1 Q taking a salve or clarities to mid is dangerous anyways because most enemy mids have easy ways to pop them unless you are way out of XP range
Off lane bristleback is hilarious fun. I was versus an axe and dark seer, which should have been gg right from the start but because of how tanky bristle is I ended up getting a double when they tried to dive me. 10/10 would stomp again
guys how do I convince my friend who's brand new to dota not to play clockwerk clock is an amazing hero but he's literally never played an RTS but loves clockwerk for some reason but he won't understand why someone brand new to the game really shouldn't be playing him
I think my Shuriken Toss just missed. I know spells can't generally miss, but I'm pretty sure my Shuriken Toss missed for a reason unknown. And no, it wasn't blink dodge or anything like that.

Give him some advice, if he fails to play Clockwerk properly he can switch hero, otherwise he could be able to learn how to play Clockwerk. Or do you mean he just dies many, many times but still insist on playing Clockwerk and not following your advice either?
same here, actually. It was a dead-cert kill on an outworld devourer and it missed.
Was he on flat ground? Was he alone? Did he have large magic resist?
Was he on flat ground? Was he alone? Did he have large magic resist?
No, he was uphill No No
Is there any Facepunch group used to create matches? My latest pub matches were disgusting
Is there any Facepunch group used to create matches? My latest pub nmatches were disgusting
There's a guild in the process of forming and the inhouse league

Learning an offlaner early is actually really nice because chances are you'll have more people who want to play junglers than offlaners It also helps you develop individual mechanics without worrying about lane partners [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] Although no one else is going to understand the concept of solo offlaning so they might look at you like you're some kind of nut, yell at you for not completely destroying the carry (although that's actually fairly easy in lower brackets because people are fucking awful at zoning and pulling and shit), and some times just straight up ruin you by feeling the need to dual lane
i dunno, clock isn't that bad for a new player really i mean he's kind of awkward to lane but if he's new then nobody is going to have any idea where to go anyway
too lazy to quote two people but anyway he tried two games and he did fairly awful (as expected) but I figured how crucial positioning is for clock would fuck him over (and it did, multiple times) so idk it's really hard to teach people dota
I never played the first dota. I just read Terrorblades skill set and he sounds really lethal, how is he?
just played with my friend and he went 0-19 as huskar that takes more skill than doing good as huskar :v:
just played with my friend and he went 0-19 as huskar that takes more skill than doing good as huskar :v:
How. [editline]24th June 2013[/editline] Seriously how is that possible. [editline]24th June 2013[/editline] It baffles me so much that these are statements.

When I was first playing with friends, the heroes they enjoyed most were Lion and DK.
what happens if you're enchantress and you enchant a phantom lancer illusion does it do a shadow demon disruption thing where you can have an army of phantom lancer illusions?
Teaching new players is tricky. Sometimes non-newbie heroes just click with them. I was told not to pick Dazzle, but he's probably my favourite hero to play as. On the other hand, I also really wanted to play Morphling and I did just terrible (I do better with him now, though)

You have 80 seconds to get lucky, rather than 5/6/7/8 seconds, so there's a difference there.

Just got stomped by an Io-enhanced Huskar with Omniknight immunties oh god it was painful
That's so true. My newbie friend is actually pumped for Abaddon b/c he resembles the LoL character he was really good at. It's more important new players know who to avoid as opposed to who to play as. IMO a newbie can pick anyone but Invoker, Meepo, Wisp, Chen/ench
